We arrived at CMB Airport at midnight. From there it took us about 30mins to get to the location. Finding the place was a little confusing, because we were looking for “Tropical Sunsets”, but the building is called “Ocean Breeze”. Following that, we spent 3 wonderful nights in the apartment. The bed is comfy, the view from the balcony is great, and the rooftop pool is awesome! The host is very communicative and responds quickly. The location is great, as it’s close to the beach and many nice restaurants. Only downside was the low water pressure which makes it hard to remove shampoo and especially sand after a day at the beach. Overall very good start to our trip and highly recommended!

Our stay at Villa Tranquil Waters was absolutely unforgettable! The villa is immaculate, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. From the super cozy seating areas designed for ultimate relaxation to the countless books and cinema room filled with fascinating memorabilia, every corner of this house offers something to enjoy. The location is a dream – surrounded by lush trees, facing a serene lagoon, and complete with a private pool. The peaceful setting was the perfect backdrop for a much-needed disconnect. What truly made the experience exceptional were the hosts. They went above and beyond, ensuring every request was met without hesitation. Their warmth, friendliness, and the incredible food they prepared daily made us feel so welcome and cared for. The entire stay was breathtaking, from the scenery to the overall ambiance. Our stay was sensational! The hosts took great care of us before check-in and welcomed us warmly. The prepared dinner was top notch and the breakfast as well. We were provided with drinks, WiFi, bug spray and helpful tips for booking a driver. The private garden is incredibly beautiful. We felt very comfortable.

Felt at home as we came. The caretaker and his wife was very kind and helpful. We have been in this villa before so we had a great experience last time as well hence we decided to come again with our parents. Place is very spacious with a lovely view of the pool, some greenery and the beach. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to go on a small vacay not too far from Colombo and enjoy with family and friends.

We had an amazing stay at Suneethas! The rooms and the beautiful garden are the perfect place to relax after or before your flight! Ishany is a super friendly and extraordinary responsible host who wants to give you the perfect stay. Not only the whole place but also the food (with ingredients right from the garden) were extraordinary! We‘ll definitely come back 🙂

We (Sebastian and Anna with our three kids (2,4,6)) had a fantastic stay at Westwinds. It was the beginning of our three weeks Sri Lanka trip and a really good starting point. Although we arrived early in the morning (4:30am) it was no problem to check in. Nimanthi was already waiting for us and gave us a perfect introduction. During the days we had a couple of delicious breakfasts and dinners prepared by Nimanthi and her mum. The pool (we had to pay for but it was worth 100%) was a perfect place to cool down. Nimanthi was all the time available for us and arranged us a Tuk Tuk when needed and gave us tips for our stay in Sri Lanka. The kids could feel free to play everywhere. We were at Westwinds during the monsun, so there were no chance swimming at the sea. It‘s really too dangerous because of the waves. But we loved the all-day-wind and taking a walk at the beach. We can highly recommended this house and would definitely come back when being again in Sri Lanka.

We had a wonderful stay here for our last two nights in Sri Lanka. The hosts were absolutely lovely—quick to respond to any questions and very welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with great air conditioning, a hot shower, and Netflix on the TV—perfect for relaxing after our travels. The location is ideal, just 30 minutes from the airport and close to many great restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind before or after a flight!
