Beachfront vacation rentals in Cylinder Beach

We really enjoyed our time here, as a family of four with two young children it was the perfect base for us. The pool was beautiful, and the backyard greenery was spectacular. The house was gorgeous and had all the amenities needed including wifi and use of a laundry. It was within walking distance to the local shops and beach, we enjoyed exploring Wynnum and what it had to offer. Highly recommend

We loved our 3 night stay at Frenchman’s Folly. The cottage is lovely and cosy with everything we needed. It’s clearly owner managed and was perfectly clean. Linda was so kind to leave the lights on for our late arrival, which was very helpful. Our girls loved the tree in the front yard and the spacious grassy, fenced backyard. We’ll book again.

Lovely peaceful spot right on the water. We loved being able to tie our boat up to the pontoon and go sailing whenever the wind picked up. Bedrooms were comfortable and the square dining table a great fit for the 8 of us. Lots of fun board games to play and puzzles to do too. All round a great place for a family holiday!

We had a fantastic weekend at Vincent’s place! The house is super cute, spotlessly clean, and very well-organised. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. My mini dachshund loved running around on the grass, and we really enjoyed the chilly evening by the fire pit under the fairy lights — such a cozy touch. The location is perfect: just a 2-minute walk to the IGA and very close to our favorite surf beaches. Vincent was incredibly friendly and responsive throughout. We’ll definitely be back soon — highly recommend staying here!

We had a great stay at Peter's place, amazing location lots to do and make use of such as crab pots, fishing rods etc. we had a great time and would highly reccommend Peter as a host.

It was quiet and it was a good space for relaxation. And being a waterfront house, the view was great. It would have been perfect for fishing if someone wanted to fish. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Lil’ Straddie pad the punches above its weight. She boasts an extra sleep out cabin out back. Property offers a relaxed beachy experience, architectural design-in features private timber decking between the structures and an outdoor shower. The garden planting is thoughtful inspired to Paranakan feel and complimented by local island and some edible species. It works. The decor is peppered with Melanesian motifs. The art and photography selection is contemporary and connected to the island, tastefully put together that complements the feel of the venue. Wet areas were functional, clean and tidy. Kitchen is benched in stainless for quick & easy clean; And European appliances. Lenore, our host, had the grace and foresight to include some bare essentials for ease of function. The island experience offers some adventure, opportunity for growth in study and understanding of the local history, culture, hydrology and wildlife. It was nice to come home after being out and about.

The place was very close to a stunning view, and the bed had plenty of cushions, so I was able to sleep very well. There were thick blankets, toothpaste, soap, a kettle, and a microwave, but no toothbrush, hair dryer, or tableware. Check-in was easy and flexible without needing to coordinate a specific time. I think I’ll stay here again next time.

Beautiful view of the ocean and beach. We were two couples and there was plenty of room. Quite pricey, but an enjoyable stay and the pool was great for a cooling off dip. Very clean and modern. Lovely cool wind off the ocean at night. The bedrooms are upstairs, so don’t book if stairs are an issue.

Such a great location. Easy walk to beech & shops . Once you step in to Chris and Garth’s property, you feel like you are already on holiday . Everything is well thought of (down to my own box organiser for my toiletries !) Facility wise everything you need is here; washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ etc & lovely little pool. Would love to return some day Juliet & James

Our stay at Grants place was amazing, so close to the beach, the views were awesome, the unit was very lovely. Grant was such a joy to deal with & always promptly responded. He went over & above for us. Totally enjoyed our stay!

Amazing little stay with the fam. While the weather was lousy, it meant we spent more time at the accomodation than we planned and it was a great spot to be in that case. You can sit on the balcony with beer in hand watching the rain and surf roll on in. Their communication was amazing, the room was ready early and even offered us a late check out as the weather was starting to look half decent by then. Straddie is a paradise and this place is a great spot to experience it all.

What a gem! The views are amazing, the location is perfect, and this is by far the most well-equipped AirBnB we have ever stayed at. Anything we could have possibly needed was there, and more. Damara is very responsive and accommodating, and clearly has gone to great lengths to make you feel at home during your stay. The unit was even more spacious than I expected - we all had plenty of space and privacy (and views and sounds of the ocean)! We can't wait to return!

31 st Catherines terrace studio A is a great place to stay if your looking for something in a quiet neighbourhood and out of the way of the busy city. The studio is also walking distance to the Wynnum Central station, local cafes and grocery store. We felt quite at home while staying here, Patrick was at the studio on arrival which made check in and finding everything a seamless experience. The interior of the studio was well laid out and definitely a winner, quality appliances and bedding have not been skimped upon. We really enjoyed staying at this studio and we will be on the lookout for availability when travelling to Wynnum again.
