Take a break, unwind at this peaceful retreat. Originally built as a Civil War veteran’s dream home, this section was provided with a nice view of the backyard and more privacy. The room has a separate entrance, private bedroom (queen bed/TV) and private bathroom. It also includes a full private kitchen and dining area. Please note we have a cat. The property is surrounded by 365 acres of state and MNA sanctuary lands with 700 feet of private frontage. Excellent trout fishing, kayaking, tubing, biking, XC skiing, snow shoeing and hiking right out the back door. It’s located about 7 miles from Bellaire and Shorts brewery as well as torch lake. It’s about 45 minutes from traverse city, Charlevoix and Petoskey.
