Cosy open plan chalet

PhoebeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was a last minute stay for us and we were more than satisfied with Charles’ accommodation. The place looks much better than the pictures too! It was all very clean and welcoming with some complimentary bits, including things for the dog too! Charles was very helpful with all communication and it was all just a very easy going, smooth stay. We had no problems but I feel if there was any, it would have been rectified immediately. Thank you again guys :)

Riverside Cabin

A beautiful place to stay. Really enjoyed the craftsmanship of the cabin's construction and the cosy ambiance when the fire was going. Beautiful walks along the quarry valley woods.

Unique pet friendly holiday home with hot tub

MarkRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely week staying at Calcite Cabin. The cabin is comfortable, peaceful and private with everything we needed. We loved sitting in the hot tub listening to the birds singing and our dog loved the enclosed garden. We enjoyed having the watersports centre on site where we used our paddleboard and hired one of the centre's kayaks. We also joined one of the swimming sessions, had a nice lunch in the cafe and watched tiny goslings on the lake. The site wardens were really friendly and helpful. We had beautiful weather so visited local beaches (Kynance Cove and Porthleven are stunning), Lizard Point and had Mexican food at Chimichangas. We also had day trips to the Eden Project and St Ives. We'd highly recommend Calcite Cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, dog friendly holiday or those who like to be on the water. There's some heathland adjacent to the centre where dogs can be walked on the lead, and down the road is a nature reserve where dogs can go off lead.

Pat's Den, Island View Mullion Cove & Harbour

LucyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
With a stunning location and lots of beautiful places to explore close by it was perfect for us. The village was a lovely walk and had everything we needed. The cafe next door, run by Joanna and her team had the most incredible afternoon cream teas. Breakfast food was also good. We also ate at The Old Inn a beautiful pub in the village, again amazing food and excellent service. We even had a locally cooked Curry take away from the village. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Cosy Cabin with Hot Tub in the Cornish Countryside

BalaramaniRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The place is situated in a wonderful location where it is surrounded by farms. If you are planning for a retreat, this is the right place. But if you are scared about being alone in a quiet and private place, don't go for it. But the hosts make atmost all the necessary arrangements to make sure we don't feel alone, the other houses are not too far and also not too close, they are evenly spaced. The Hot water tub facility they provided was amazing and it was one of the best experience.

A historic Dutch Luxemotor Barge rests alongside a grassy quay, surrounded by various sailboats and marine structures. The boat features a distinct blue band along the hull and large windows. Lush greenery and a hilly landscape border the background, under a partly cloudy sky.

Lily's Retreat

CathyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We booked Lily’s Retreat at very short notice and were extremely grateful to receive such prompt & helpful replies. The house is located on the edge of the village overlooking fields & out to sea - a very restful vista especially when sitting on the balcony in the evening with our sundowners! The house is well equipped and the beds super comfy. The dog throws and biscuits are a very nice touch. There is a school located to the rear of the property but as we were out all day we did not feel bothered by it at all. We would certainly stay again.

"Diskwitha", Cornish for relax.

CharlotteRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Ross and Julie were absolutely fantastic hosts! The hut was beautiful and absolutely immaculate and even better than the pictures. The area was lovely with a beach about 10/15 minute walk away and it was all very peaceful and scenic. Easy to join on the south west coastal path or use the location as a hub for exploring the area. Ross and Julie were so thoughtful and left some lovely local treats in the hut including the most delicious scones I’ve had in a long time! They left a guide with lots of helpful information including suggestions for the local area and were on hand in case I needed any help during my stay. I can’t recommend a stay at Ross and Julie’s place enough and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again in the future. Thanks so much for making me feel so welcome!
