The space offers two bedrooms with a queen bed in each, a third room with a double bed that can be used as a bedroom or common room, and a full bathroom with an antique claw foot tub and shower. There's no access to the downstairs. You can also relax on the front porch or back deck overlooking 9 wooded acres.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Pierce Farmhouse was built in 1870 as a wedding gift for a son. We have owned it for 20 years and have made another set of renovations to bring it back to its original charm and character while making it more comfortable with modern amenities. The farmhouse sits on 60 wooded acres in High Shoals and guests have access to our pond for fishing and river for canoeing. We are 20 minutes from Athens, and 15 minutes from Monroe and Madison.

This guest suite is located above the detached three car garage across from the main house. Beautiful views of the countryside, including horses and chickens! Sanford Stadium and beautiful downtown Athens are just 14 miles north of us (a 22 minute drive). Historic Madison is 19 miles to the south of us. You are welcome to fish or kayak on our pond as well. Come stay with us! We do have a no-pet policy and a no-smoking policy. Thank you for respecting our space.

My husband and I only stayed one night and our stay was great. Wes communicated well to make sure we were comfortable. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The self check in was easy. The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also roomy. We noticed the attention to small details like extra toiletries, lightening cord next to the bed, sound machine, k-cup assortment with coffee mugs and bottled water just to mention a few. We highly recommend their place.

Deer Overlook: charming upstairs garage apartment

We absolutely loved this spot! It was perfect for visit and while it is a 15-ish min drive to downtown Athens and Sanford Stadium it was still convenient to get back and forth. It’s a peaceful area and private feeling even though it’s part of the main house. The place was spotless, well designed, and had everything we needed (and more). A lot of thought and care was put into the apartment and we really appreciated it. The hosts were wonderful and responsive. We would definitely stay again!

Olen Classic City Suite was just as described. It was perfect for what I needed, a quiet place to work while my daughter attended a summer program at UGA. The room was clean and comfortable. Athens downtown is about 15 minutes away. Definitely need a car to get around. I would recommend the Classic City Suite.
