House vacation rentals in Cullowhee

Well, my husband and I have stayed there on and off for the last six months for local work, so we know the place well. Sadly, our project has come to an end, so our most recent stay will be our last for work. BUT, we love everything about Todd and Barbie and the house, and we will be back for fun hiking weekends. Hiking, waterfalls, everything nearby. It's the best place we've stayed in the area. Private, squeaky clean, big deck, large dining room table for big meals or spreading out the paperwork, GREAT internet connection and TV options. We'll definitely be back on our own - we feel so comfortable there in every way. I could not recommend any higher - would give it a "10" if I could. Todd and Barbie also bent over backwards to help us with a couple of last-minute schedule changes. Such honest and thoughtful hosts. Thanks Todd and Barbie for EVERYTHING over the last few months. We love you guys!

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

Beautiful location that’s easy to get to and far enough away from main roads, but close enough to easily experience everything the area has to offer. Great small private community that would never even know existed if you didn’t drive back this house.

John's unit was a very nice place to stay. Everything we needed was available and easily accessed. Location was perfect for all the amenities /restaurants/hiking/shopping. We would highly recommend this place to stay for your visit to the western Carolina mountains. John was responsive and available when needed. Come to Sapphire Valley for a great vacation.

Clint and Hannah were a joy to have as hosts! The welcome sign was a great surprise for our daughter. This house was pretty well stocked,cleanly and cozy. The amenities were loved, especially the birthday girl and siblings! This house will now hold extra joy, love and laughter . We highly suggest this rental and will be personally renting in the future.

This is such an amazing place and yes it is real! Incredible views and wonderful stunning home in the mountains. It really was a memory I'll have forever. Matt was so awesome, he helped us get settled in and the amenities were so awesome🙏. Stay here and prepare to be pampered all the way up in the mountains! ❤️

The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking. The cabin was meticulously designed and equipped with all the amenities you could ever need. The hot tub, game room, and fire tables in the porch were a huge plus. Joyce was incredibly kind and attentive to our questions and concerns. Throughout our stay, we appreciated the time and effort you put into providing us with detailed user guides for every appliance in the cabin. We can’t wait to return to this wonderful place!

This place was our favorite place to stay in all our families vacations. The house was just beautiful. So open! My parents came and stayed for two nights, and they felt right at home. My children stayed downstairs, and loved the games! My husband and I loved the master and the master bathroom. The couch is super comfy! We used the hot tub every evening. There is a lot to do in the area, Sliding Rock is one of our favorite getaway excursions, about 45 minutes away. Coming back from 55 degrees cold water, the hot tub was wonderful! There is so much to say about this home, it was perfect for our family. The kitchen is top of the line, and laundry room is right off the kitchen, which makes it nice and convenient to wash clothes. Having a family of 6, laundry is a must! Also, the Sapphire Valley Resort amenities is GREAT for families! We rented a John boat to go fishing on Fairfield Lake, the view is stunning! We have fallen in love with this home and already booked again for next year!

Very beautiful, secluded spot with many activities to do right there. Many enjoyable, family-friendly activities close by also. Shawn was very responsive to all the questions and concerns we had throughout the stay.

This was such a beautiful place to stay while we were witnessing my daughter’s graduation from WCU. It was so spacious, clean, and had gorgeous views, all while being minutes away from the University. The host was so proactive with communication and instructions for check in and out. The place was SPOTLESS. It’s an unforgettable trip!

I had a wonderful stay at Emily's mountain cabin! The place was exactly what I was hoping for—cozy, comfortable, and peaceful. The beds were super cozy, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. I especially loved the spacious living room, which was perfect for lounging and enjoying the beautiful surroundings through the windows. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed, making cooking simple and enjoyable. Emily provided clear and helpful instructions, which made check-in and navigating the cabin a breeze. All in all, it was a fantastic getaway, and I’d happily return!

We had a wonderful time. Zachary’s place was very close to all the activities we wanted to do as well as great places to eat. Their place was also very peaceful way to unwind from our day. We had a great time.

We had a Wonderful weekend at Nate’s Place the Cabin is Absolutely amazing.Listening to the sound of the river in the Morning while drinking a coffee and relaxing ,just amazing .We also enjoy the jacuzzi at night while watching the stars. Your place is all we needed to just unplug from the hectic work life and just relax in a peaceful beautiful Cabin.We also visited Dry Falls and White water Falls all only 1 hour away from the Cabin and Drove to Gatlinburg also less then 2 hours away .It was a great time we can wait to plan another trip back!

I loved my stay here. Tanea's home was really clean, spacious, and felt homey. It was peaceful and easy to relax. I loved being able to sit on the porch and have coffee in the mornings and look out on the mountains and watch the animals. Tanea made sure that I would be able to have a comfortable temperature when I arrived and that I would be able to view TV. I appreciated her kindness and thoughtfulness. Her home is a short drive to downtown which made it easy to shop, dine, and sight see, but also far enough away to be relaxing. If I am in the area again, I will most likely stay here again, if it is an option. In some ways, her place sets a new standard for me when I search for accommodations in other areas. Thank you for your hospitality.

Beautiful get away. A great A-Frame. Tons of character and personal touches. The entire family had a great time and The Host was amazing!

What a beautiful serene place to relax! My mom and I were back in the Whee for WCU graduation & wanted to stay nearby. Gavin was a great host and we really enjoyed the space. Everything was as described and very comfortable. Be sure to keep going when you get to what feels like the end of the road! :)

What a special place! The cabin has everything you could want from seclusion to easy access to many great restaurants and things to do. Quick access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. This was one of our best vacation places we have stayed and hope to return.

This house was super comfortable, and the location is ideal for enjoying the Tuckasegee river centrally located close to Sylva and Dillsboro. The kitchen is updated with all the amenities. The two bedrooms are comfortable and the porch is well done and very relaxing. We also enjoyed bonfires at night in the adjacent fire pit

The cottage was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. We had many amenities, more than we expected. The neighborhood was quiet, and close to town. If we were ever to visit Franklin again, we would definitely stay at the Windmill Cottage.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mialfor Guest House! The house overlooks downtown Dillsboro and yet provides a lot of privacy. It's close to all kinds of amenities and restauraunts. The fenced yard was great for my dog. The wifi was fast and reliable. Quite close to the Smoky's and other great hikes. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this place!

We stayed here before and just couldn't wait to come back. The house is a beautiful, private escape in the trees. Yet close to so many fun things to do. The kitchen is great to cook in and the views from almost every room are gorgeous. It's very clean, has lots of natural light and plenty of space to relax. We can't wait to come back!
