I already miss The High House! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was something special. The porch quickly became my favorite spot—I could have spent all day soaking in those breathtaking views. We were lucky enough to visit during firefly season, and watching the fireflies put on their magical show was truly unforgettable. Our evenings around the campfire, making s’mores, were such a treat. My 9-year-old boys loved exploring the property, making new friends with the host’s sweet and welcoming children, and discovering tortoises, baby kittens, and playful sheep along the way. The beds were super comfortable, and the location was perfect for all our adventures—whitewater rafting, zip lining, gem mining, and chasing waterfalls. One of the highlights was ordering baked goods and a dinner from our wonderful host, Sharon. It was hands down the best meal we had during our trip! Our stay was pure magic, and I can’t recommend The High House enough! Thanks for the memories!

We had a wonderful time at Gretchen’s place! She was super responsive and helpful to all of our needs. And the beautiful home was perfect! We had three adults and two preschool aged kids and it was just right for us. Clean and welcoming with such nice touches everywhere. And the kids loved the kid room and outside play area. There was so much to do we really didn’t need to leave the property! Thank you Gretchen for letting us use your beautiful home and property. We will definitely be back!

Christy’s home was exactly as depicted in the listing information and photos. Instructions were clear, the house was clean, kitchen is well equipped and the view was breathtaking. Christy was responsive and reached out multiple times to ensure our stay was pleasant and to offer local recommendations. The house is very close to many fast food restaurants, Walmart, Ingles, Best Buy and a few minutes away from downtown Waynesville. However, once you get to the house, you feel you are secluded. Would definitely recommend and would love stay at her beautiful home again.

The fascinating history, serene surroundings and welcoming, homey environment of the Farmhouse was the perfect place for our family to gather. The house was immaculately prepared and attention to detail was very impressive. Our hosts, Debra and Renee,communicated clearly directions how to enter the home and how to contact them if we needed. I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely home and hope to return one day to repeat our wonderful stay.

Kathy is an amazing host, and the accommodations are exactly like the photos. We enjoyed our stay so much we requested to extend another night! Very welcoming peaceful surroundings. Gorgeous stone FP and kitchen backsplash. Decorated beautifully. The bed was very comfortable, and the bath towels were excellent. We had everything we needed. Our dog was welcomed with treats and a dog toy. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to be close to Brevard and the surrounding areas. We will stay again when in the neighborhood. Our family is always grateful to stay at Mary Ann's beautiful property! We've stayed here multiple times now and hope to continue to do so whenever our travels take us through the Asheville area. This property is truly a gem - peaceful, beautiful mountain view, a tree swing, lots of greenspace for the kiddos to run around outside after long car rides, comfortable big beds, a lovely bathroom, cozy living room and lots of much appreciated extras in the kitchen like KCups and creamers, pop tarts, waffles, water and juice. And if you ever need anything, Mary Ann is super responsive. It truly feels like a respite for us along long family trips, like getting to stop at a home away from home. We love this special place! this home was beautiful and clean. my family and I felt right at home! the drive up wasn't too bad! the house was very spacious. Robert was very responsive, We had asked for a recommendations for places to eat and he gave us a list which we really enjoyed! highly recommend staying here!

I have lived in a lot of places over the past year while traveling for school, and this was the best of the bunch. Everything was great, including a clean comfortable space, available toiletries, efficient appliances, simple check in and out, amazing 10/10 mountain view.

I did not interact with the host very often because it was a short stay, but she was responsive to the few inquiries I had. The house was within walking distance of the venue, Third Room, which made exploring Asheville fun and purposeful as we meandered to the event we were in town for. It was also close enough for an inexpensive Uber back. The home was functional and friendly for our brief visit. I will be visiting Asheville often. This will be near the top of the list if I need room for three or more.

Beautiful place. Hosts are nearby but you have all the privacy you could want. Beds very comfortable and the hot tub was wonderful after hiking. Location is great for Pisgah forest and Dupont. Close to Bervard and also Hendersonville. We will definitely stay again.

Amazing stay in Barbara’s garage apartment. Our daughter loved feeding the pigs and we loved being surrounded by the woods. Excellent communication and ease of stay. Would stay here again and again

Second time staying here, place was clean and well stocked. Great location for exploring the area.

We highly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the covered screened in porch, as it rained for much of our stay. The property is beautiful and in a great location. Damien is helpful and friendly and responded quickly. Overall this is one of the nicer Air Bnb's we have stayed in. We will definitely be back and stay at one of his properties in the future.

This place is a great stay for anyone looking for a place centrally located in the Cashiers/Sapphire area. Easy and scenic walk around lake Fairfield. Great Mountain View from back patio. Easy access to Sapphire National Golf Course. The place is very spacious with room to spread out for the whole family and it is equipped very well. Roland is responsive and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was well. I highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our weekend! The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. And the view was breathtaking! It was the perfect place for our whole family to gather and celebrate our son’s graduation from WCU!

Hidden gem with breathtaking views and near popular hiking spots! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible place and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had! The property itself was even more stunning in person than in the photos! I loved having the homemade pizza that was included. It was very easy to make and it was such a fun date night, the pizza was delicious! The place itself was spotless and very luxurious! We also loved the YouTube tutorials on how to work the amenities, it was very helpful. Julie was amazing and always got back to us right away, we also met her husband and he was super nice and helpful with hiking recommendations! We will definitely be back soon!!

Eric was always quick to respond to my questions. Was willing to give genuine suggestions. Was very easy to talk to. Loved the location and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Clean with plenty of extra amenities. Great location next to the highway for easy access to different parts of town. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Definitely recommend and would return!

My family enjoyed a long, relaxing weekend at Craig's Encore at the end of Lake Nantahala. We have stayed in many places, and this home was truly exceptional with every detail considered. We enjoyed watching Lake Nantahala change throughout the day, paddled in the kayaks, swam, soaked in the hot tub, relaxed and had fun outings renting a boat one day and tubing down the Nantahala River the next. It was truly memorable, and the only drawback was the long drive in over gravel, but that's what makes it so peaceful and remote. The lake was never busy and such a big change from so many crowded and touristed spots. We hope we made a good impression and will be welcomed back. This is truly a loved and cherished family home, and we appreciate Craig sharing it with us.
