A mountain villa built more than 100 years ago , built on an imposing rock with a unique enveloping and breathtaking view over the sea to the city , Cascais and the mountain where it is located . The house has been recently renovated and enlarged with a modern and design building enjoying the view and surroundings . You can see from the top of the Serra de Sintra, to the Guincho to Cabo Espichel. Two steps from the footpaths of the Serra de Sintra and its monuments, and next to good restaurants , from cafes with good surroundings , the small village has a supermarket and pharmacy for its tranquility. Guests have at their disposal a house with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, fully private and access to a large garden with an infinity pool where they can enjoy the wonderful view. I live on the property and am available to share stories and information about the region. I love cycling and I know Serra like the back of my hand. I can share the secrets of the mountain and advise the best restaurants in the region. Malveira da Serra, a picturesque village near Cascais and Lisbon (20 min), with walking paths in the Serra de Sintra and its monuments. Guincho Beach and its wild dunes with its unique beauty, are a paradise for Surf/Kite-surf/Windsurf. I advise you to use your own car.

A beautiful place in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood away from the hustle of Lisbon. We were greeted with a great Portuguese welcome on the first day. The home is only a 5 minute walk to a large grocery store and a 7 minute drive to Belém tower, Jeronimos Monastery, and Pasteis do Belém. Not too far from the city either; about a 20 minute drive. The home was very worth the price and everything we asked for. It was one of the highlights of the trip. The backyard was a great addition for those early morning breakfasts/late night family dinners. The host was very responsive to our concerns. We hope to book this place again if we ever get the chance to visit Lisbon in the future.

My wife Elaine spent three weeks in this wonderful bright, peaceful apartment. The neighborhood was very safe, conveniently located to nice cafes, parks, markets and the train. She thoroughly enjoyed the balcony and the beautiful view for her morning coffee. She can't wait to visit again.

The accommodation seems to be located a bit far away from Lisbon center on Google maps but in reality it’s really close and you can easily reach it with cheap train in 10-15 min. The appartement was clean and well equiped and in quiet area. You can enjoy the beach 10 min away and make groceries in local shops around. I fully recommend this place to stay.

The apartment was spacious and clean, well located, with a beautiful view. Parking was on the street, which made it difficult, as there was not always a space. The host Tomás answered our questions very quickly and was very kind to authorize the early check-in, as we had 3 elderly people. However, immigration held us for 4 hours (which we did not expect) and the interlocutor (Duarte) went to the apartment even though I warned him that I was still at the airport and was not cordial when he said that he had other services and could not wait for us. Finally, we arrive at 3 pm. We needed instructions on how to use the stove and Catarina, the attendant, responded promptly. Tomás also presented us with a wine, which demonstrates his kindness and hospitality.
