Monthly Rentals in Cross Fork

My husband Brian and I had a wonderful time even though weather was cool and rainy. We wouldn’t have changed a thing! Cherie went well and beyond having all the amenities there you’ll ever need for camping. Thank you Cherie. Now we understand why Cherie calls the “Canned Ham” her little piece of heaven! The area is beautiful! We can’t wait to go back again and we will make this a yearly trip for us for sure! I would recommend this ‘piece of heaven’ to anyone who wants to get away for a perfect, quiet, private, peaceful weekend!!!! We give this place 5/5 stars!!! Thank you, Debra Black

David’s place is a great place to stay. This is our third time staying and we will be back!

This is my fourth year staying at Nanny's Nook. I love the quite, beautiful location. I have coffee on the porch and see amazing birdlife, including Baltimore orioles, blue birds, even spotted an eagle. At night the stars are amazing and a nice fire pit and wood is provided. The fishing is amazing and First Fork is heavily stocked, with many wild and holdover trout. Amber's place is located near the best stretches and as a bonus the seldom fished Freeman Run, Class A wild trout stream, enters First Fork at the property. I typically go with my wife, cousin and his wife. We fish and explore during the day and cook in the very capable kitchen in the evening. It is also an easy drive to Cherry Springs, but honestly the dark sky is the same from many places very nearby.

This was our 2nd time at Donna's cabin. This place is perfect and secluded. Such a beautiful cabin and wonderful experience. We can't wait for our next trip there. Thanks again Donna!!!
