Monthly Rentals in Craddockville

The reviews are all correct! This private cottage sits right on the water which made it perfect to kayak. In mid June, there weren’t problems with mosquitoes or ticks yet. We were pleasantly surprised by how stocked the cottage was- including fire starters, kayaks, fishing rods, games, toiletries, a full spice cabinet, and snacks in the fridge. We were able to see a calf who was born the day before we arrived, which was a highlight. The commute to Assateague beach was about an hour, and it was the perfect distance away to avoid the crowding of beach towns. Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Chincoteague island!

Michael was very kind and responsive. He was flexible and accommodated a last minute added guest. Space is cute and intimate, perfect for a quiet weekend on the bay.

This place is off the beaten path and offers peace and tranquility. It's large, well stocked and ac was nice and cold. We liked the dogs and was greeted by one of friendly dogs, a 150+ lb great dane. We were here for a bike century so we didn't spend much time at the place. My only complaint is the futon was very uncomfortable, the sofa bed in the original listing (since updated) was no longer there but she did offer an air mattress which we should of taken. The main bed was super nice.

It was a pleasure finding this peaceful home. It is nestled in a rural area of Maryland. If you need to get away from life for a reset, this is the perfect place. The host was extremely responsive and flexible. The home is nicely accommodating and the local area has a nice park and dock to enjoy the water. I would highly recommend staying. James P
