Fantastic holiday getaway House is beautifully decorated and presented Bed very comfortable Big kitchen with anything you would ever need to cook meals Very dog friendly Pool was amazing and so pretty lit up at night 1 min walk to the beach and great views to dunk island Candice was extremely attentive and helpful with suggestions of where we could go to eat with our pups Had a great week away even though the weather was rather wet

Sarah's place was just as described, perfectly simple and just as you would expect and hope for a chill beach holiday or weekender. We all slept well in comfortable beds and enjoyed having meals in the lovely modern beachy kitchen.

Absolutely stunning place to stay in a beautiful location nestled between the rainforest and the sea. We had the best time. The house was perfect for two families, very spacious with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy. The photos really don’t do it justice. Our favourite outdoor lounge area was sheltered by beautiful tropical gardens making it a great place to relax and socialise rain or shine. The house is a super short walk to the spectacular palm tree fringed beach with stunning views to the islands and amazing sunrises. It is a short walk to town along a beautiful coastal trail with some lovely places to eat and look around. Many great coastal and rainforest walks nearby. Such a beautiful part of the world with a very relaxed vibe.

Our 2nd stay at Siobhan's place- we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Mission Beach. Perfect location- privacy in rain forest with beach across the road and a beautiful spacious home (and pool) with perfect indoor and outdoor spaces to relax. 10/10.

Exceptional Host – A Truly Memorable Experience! I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb where the host truly made all the difference. From the moment I booked my stay, they were attentive and communicative, ensuring I had all the information I needed for a smooth arrival. Throughout my stay, the host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They checked in to see if I needed anything. It was clear that Diane genuinely cared about creating a positive experience for their guests. The homes itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, reflecting the host's attention to detail. It was evident that they put a lot of effort into maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this host. Their hospitality transformed my stay into something truly special. If you're looking for an Airbnb experience where you feel valued and well taken care of, this is the place to book!

Natalie was very accomodating and responsive to all messages. The house was large enough for 8 adults , and a very convenient location.

Our stay here was exactly what we were looking for: a home that allowed us to relax and disconnect from our busy lives for a while. The location was beautiful and there were so many windows to take in the view. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable, we felt right at home. Gail was very helpful with information, even providing a pin board with information about local attractions and take away menus. We enjoyed our time there so much that we’re hoping to visit again.

Beautiful relaxing place to stay a bit noisy over the weekend with families and kids in the pool only negative when trying to relax and you have other peoples kids screaming.

Lyn was an amazing host. Met us at the Airbnb when we arrived and even went so far as letting us know that supermarkets/markets were closed the next day in case we needed anything. The Airbnb was gorgeous as were the surrounds. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

We were looking for somewhere to have a relaxing family holiday by the beach and Gecko's Cottage provided us with the perfect base for just that. Location is fantastic, absolute beachfront, which provided the perfect place to relax and enjoy our surroundings. Only 2 downsides are not being able to swim in the ocean (outside of netted areas) at this time of year due to possibility of stingers, and the lack of window coverings, which meant early wake ups with the sun each day. Luckily the pool provided us with somewhere for our swims and the kids were able to sleep through the sunrises! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here though and would love to return in the future.

Second time staying here. Loved it again. Very clean. Love that it’s on the beach. Beds are very comfy.

Our stay at Frangipani Place was perfect. The location is amazing with plenty to do locally, but just as easy to chill by the pool and stay in! We highly recommend

Lovely house, very adequately furnished and beautifully presented. Close to the beach, quiet and peaceful. Two bedrooms with two large bathrooms. Super comfy king bed in the main bedroom! Spacious lounge room with lovely couch. Lockable laundry separate from living area. We enjoyed the back patio area for late afternoon food platters! Also a large BBQ area which we used every day! Also pet friendly which was fantastic! Would love to come back!

Perfect spot for a family get away, felt right at home. Fully functional house, so many little extras around that are so handy when travelling. Perfect spot only a few steps away from the gorgeous beach view, will definitely be back here :)
