The refurbished inn is close to hand, and it’s walking distance to two brilliant waterside pubs.

Welcome to the Maple Room, a private en suite guest unit in our family home. The room has its own private entrance, it is completely self contained and comprises of an entry room and an en suite bedroom. We are in the beautiful medieval "river and market" town of Totnes, home to many independent shops and eateries, close to beaches, Dartmoor and many walking and hiking trails. Our house is on a hill overlooking the town, with gorgeous views, and the high street is a 10/15 minute walk away.

Kerswell Farm Shepherd Huts - The Three Hares

The Three Hares hut is named after a mystical symbol of three hares chasing each other in a circle. It has its origins in 6thC China and is found in sites sacred to Buddhism, Islam and Christianity across Europe and Asia. The Three Hares are found on roof bosses in many Dartmoor churches including Widicombe-on-the Moor and may be a sign of patronage by the tin mining community which adopted the symbol. Its meaning is uncertain but often it associated with peace and tranquillity.
