Hillside Lodge Kenmare

SheilaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Just spent 4 nights at Tessa's place, but could have spent lots more. Very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable, with all the facilities needed, including a washer and dryer. Not far into Kenmare, probably walkable for most people (maybe 20-30 minutes. ) The Beara peninsula is lovely, and Derreen Gardens is definitely worth a visit. Plenty of places to visit at no great distance (Kilarney, Sneem, Whitestrand Bay etc.)

Headley's Bridge House

LynetteRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This was a great place to stay. We were there in June, and several beautiful rose bushes were blooming right outside the window. It has a full kitchen with a big refrigerator & freezer. There was ice in the freezer, which we appreciated. It was nice to spread out with 2 bathrooms. The hosts stopped in on our first day and third day to make sure everything was fine and to ask if we needed anything. On their first visit, they showed us how to work the heat and turn on the hot water when needed, which was helpful. Thomas and Eileen are very kind, and meeting them made our stay extra special. Our hosts were my favorite part of the stay.

Killarney’s Best Town Center Location Apartment 2

AmandaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
John was communicative and helpful from the get go. His place was easy to find and access. As others have said it is in the heart of the town, making it close to everything, but also a bit loud on a weekend - a white noise machine took care of all that though. Great spot and very convenient!

Superb Two Bedroom Seaview Apartment

FeargealRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My family had a wonderful stay at John's apartment in Dungarvan. John was an exceptional host—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with local tips and recommendations. The apartment itself is beautiful, bright, and impeccably clean, with a spacious balcony offering a stunning sea view that made every morning feel special. The location is perfect—just a short walk to some of Dungarvan’s best spots. The Tannery Restaurant, run by Paul and Maire Flynn, is a must-visit for its fresh Waterford produce and mouth-watering focus on flavour. The Local bar is another gem, offering a warm ambience, live traditional music sessions, and a great selection of beers on draught. Both are only a few minutes away on foot. This apartment is ideal for anyone looking to relax by the sea while enjoying the charm and hospitality of Dungarvan. I’d absolutely stay here again.

The view from the house was stunning and seeing all the deer in the garden was very special. Good base for touring the penninsulas with great food in town. I highly recommend if you want to find peace and serenity. Thank you, Martin and Bridgette for being so kind, responsive and helpful. XXX

Captain Lysley's Retreat, Adare 10 mins

PhilRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our experience at Captain Lysley's Retreat was truly inspiring! Katrina & John were exceptional hosts! Making us feel welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived. We had a birthday during our stay & they went out of their way to make it even more special. Words cannot express how touching their thoughtfulness was to us-They really do go “above and beyond” to ensure you enjoy your stay here. We were inspired by the Katrina's passion for color and design. The home itself is a work of art. 1831 restored Georgian Country House. It felt like stepping into the pages of House Beautiful & Georgian Houses of Ireland combined. The décor combines colorful, eclectic, and old-world character, creating a charming setting with just the right amount of modern touches. This is a spacious home with high ceilings, lots of interesting details, luxurious touches, Irish humor, and warm welcoming vibes left us sad to leave so soon. This is a rare hidden gem! Cant wait to return again & again!

We loved our stay in Kinsale. The apartment is in an excellent location. You’re steps from the water with the major benefit of having a free (secure) indoor parking spot. The apartment is modern and very comfortable. Walks to town take 5 minutes. The town is lovely with plenty o& shopping and dining/drinking locations. This is a great base for touring the county of Cork. We highly recommend Elizabeth’s place.

An excellent stay! This was a great home base while visiting the Skelligs - a quiet spot but still an easy walk into Cahersiveen, and a short drive to Portmagee where most of the boats leave from. The space was very clean and just as described. The unit is downstairs from a larger home, but felt fully separate and I didn’t hear a peep from anyone else in the building. Having both laundry and the kitchen was convenient - both worked well and were nicely stocked. John was also quickly responsive to any questions. Overall, no complaints at all and highly recommend a stay here if in the area!
