Vacation rentals in Cooper Mountain

Ryan's home was beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice on everything. We enjoyed the outside just as much as the inside of the home. I had to text Ryan a couple of times, and he responded within 10 mins. We didn't want to leave and talked about going back while we were still there. His home made me love Colorado even more!

Two words - dream home! Tassi & Larry were very responsive and made us feel right at home. I was in awe in every single moment of my stay. The place offers great views, a cozy environment, and the hosts are very friendly. 10/10 will be coming back to Idledale to catch a beautiful sunrise and sunset! To be honest, I did not feel like leaving, but that just goes to show that it is a wonderful place for your getaways! Tassi & Larry, I can't thank you enough for letting us stay at your wonderful home.

Unmatched stargazing! We’re regular visitors & the location can’t be beat! Secluded with tons of hiking yet close enough to nearby towns/amenities. Cute, quaint home with all the charm! Cozy indoor fireplace & inviting décor. Views & back patio are so nice to have! We saw fox (beware they may come right up to you and the front door!) AND moose right in the yard! Nice amenities for a small home. Enjoyed the second living area with a TV, leaving the main one for gathering and enjoying the views. Kitchen has basics – need to bring oil, spices, foil/parchment paper, etc. if cooking/baking. RO water system is VERY nice to have, especially in the dry climate! Home was very clean and nicely updated. Be aware we’re very familiar with this area and spiders are a common occurrence in the Summer. They easily slip through the cracks in these older homes. We LOVED the cedar hot tub – so nice! The turf and stepping stones on the first level patio are a nice touch. Great stay, friendly hosts.

Stephen was wonderful, answering many questions we had before we even arrived. I have been to many AirBnB's and have never had a better experience communicating with the owner. He also includes a very helpful guidebook providing answers to pretty much any question you might have about the house and the surroundings. The A-frame house was rustic, immaculate, and cozy. Despite it's remote location, it was easy to find thanks to Stephen's directions, and if that's what you are looking for, this is the place to be. A++

Holy-moly, what a place! Private, secluded, breathtaking views (& not just from the cabin but on all the roads & routes to the place), &, as others have said, everything you might need was stocked (tho you might want to bring your favorite herbs/spices if you plan on cooking). The bed was super cozy, heating/cooling a breeze, & NO scented stuff anywhere (thank goodness)! The grounds were fun to wander around &, when we arrived, we were literally greeted by a very friendly White-breasted Nuthatch who graciously took unsalted peanuts right out of my hand. Note to those not from higher altitudes: Come prepared with O2 in cans (stocked in convenience stores in CO) & hydration aids…it is UP there & very dry. Sharon is responsive & ready to help, even early on Sunday a.m. if need be. We can’t speak highly enough about this rental; we hope to be lucky enough to rent here again someday.

Dewlap Lodge is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Colorado’s breathtaking wilderness! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views of Glacier Peak and the surrounding landscape. The lodge itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort—spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. The host was fantastic, providing thoughtful touches throughout the home, including a fully stocked kitchen, cozy fireplace, and even recommendations for local hiking trails. Whether you're looking for adventure or just a peaceful retreat, this spot has it all. Waking up to the crisp mountain air and watching the sunset from the deck was truly magical. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend Dewlap Lodge to anyone looking for a five-star experience in the Rockies!

Absolutely loved the Nook! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was the perfect peaceful retreat with the right balance of amenities and luxury. The view was incredible, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few great meals, and access to laundry was highly appreciated as we typically live/work out of suitcases. The telescope was a wonderful touch with the abundance of dark skies. We were lucky to have some very clear nights. Unreal little retreat. Would love to return.

We wanted a quick, relaxing getaway close to Denver and this place certainly fit the bill! This A frame was well appointed and stylish. The attention to detail was much appreciated - we enjoyed the nice linens, extra comfy bed, and above average dinner/glassware. We really liked having dinner in the lovely back yard. The kitchen is small, but well appointed and we enjoyed all of our meals on the property. Would recommend if you're looking for a nice retreat from the city!
