Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Contra Costa County

This is my third stay at Dan and Traci's place because it's just so smartly done. They've put everything together for the smoothest AirBnB experience - food, drink, treats, coffee, self-checkin - they have everything in place for your convenience and usage (even a bathrobe!). It is well-situated for quick trips on public transit to UC Berkeley, the Rockridge and Ashby BART stations and downtown Oakland. Dan and Traci are responsive and very nice. All-in-all, my favorite place to stay in Berkeley.

Loved returning to Skate and Jeannie's place after first visiting 9 years ago. The place was just as great as before though it was lovely to see the new additions to their arty garden, including the outdoor bathtub. I must also give a huge thanks for their above and beyond assistance in helping us to successfully track down some lost luggage.

Very clean room. The hotel is good. However the area around didnt feel safe.

I booked this rental of behalf of family members who were visiting San Francisco for an extended 9 day stay over the holidays. Martina’s place is an easy 10 minute walk from my own home which made it a perfect location to have family close by. The rental unit, which is downstairs from the main residence, is as advertised and looks just like the photos. Upon arrival, Martina met us to walk us through the property and make sure everything went smoothly. She was super helpful and responsive to any questions throughout the stay. The apartment was very cozy and good size. One thing worth noting is that you need to walk outside (on the back porch) to get between the two bedrooms. This was not an issue but might be say for parents with small children. Each bedroom had a fridge and bathroom, so the separation actually provides additional privacy, if that’s what you are looking for. The outside space, particularly the hot tub & attached sauna were especially enjoyed. Great stay!

This place is truly a hideaway in the Bay. The room was spotless, and the pictures in the listing looked just like what the room did in real life. Traci's treats were quite delectable, especially the brownies. I'm glad they checked in on us periodically, just to see if we needed anything. A really lovely place for anyone seeking a cozy place for a Cal game/event or a location not far from Bay Area landmarks.

It was nice staying at Richatd's house. He was a wonderful host that treat you with upmost respect. I would definitely stay again. Thank you, Richard for everything.

Had a wonderful 10 day stay here! Michelle is a fantastic host. The home, kitchens and rooms are so cozy. Everything is super organized, neat and clean. Lovely books in the shelves that will make you explore the wonderful city of San Francisco. The oatmeal breakfast, fruits, yoghurts, with array of coffee machines are absolutely a whole cherry cake on top of another. This place is a gem!

I stayed at Lana’s for a month & I felt home as soon as I entered! Lana is extremely helpful & kind & is around to help with anything her guests might require. Can’t afford to miss her suggestions buddy. She was also kind enough to help me with my cooking, picked me from BART station couple times & we did share meals along! House is extremely convenient, just 10 mins from El Cerrito BART or 2 min cab ride. There are stores & cafes around for food & drinks. I’ve come home late night 2-3am & it felt totally safe. Lana has an amazing garden & I spent a lot of my time there. Extremely well maintained & equipped with all amenities anyone might require. If you’re looking for a stay in/around Bay area, think no further! I initially felt reviews are hyped & overrated, but based on my review now, we can conclude all are 100% true & there’s no doubt Lana is a SUPER HOST! Next time I visit Bay area, I know there’s a place I can call home! Thank you, Lana for being an amazing host!!!!!

I stayed in suite B, which was a little larger of the units. I found the space really clean

Really nice spot to stay if you're in the city temporarily or using it as a base to look for a place. The rooms are clean and well marked with individual bathrooms. Street parking was really easy every evening, I was able to find a spot right in front. I appreciated how the host posted quiet hours and reminded all the guests of them. Just FYI, the house cannot have any animals, even if its a service animal; other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

Great place for exploring the city. The street noise was loud at night but the wooden sliding windows worked wonders to keep the room quiet. We'll kept place, enjoyed the stay.
