Monthly Rentals in Colfax

My time with Susan was exactly what I needed. After leaving a stressful job that took a toll on my mental health, I needed to get away from the city. Being at the farm with my dog in tow was exactly what my soul needed. Thank you to Susan for the wonderful hospitality!

This is an awesome place! i travel with my mom (she's 82) gk visit family as much as we can, so we look for great airbnbs so we can cook for ourselves and enjoy low-key hang-time. This absolutely fit the bill. It's adorable with a little bridge to the wraparound deck. The kitchen has all things needful, and like I said, I cook all our meals (restaurants aren't as healthy). And a great coffee maker - super important. It's just got all the right stuff, in exact proportion to the space. Just perfect! It's only a couple minutes from hwy 80, but it's so quiet up in the trees. Loved our stay!!! 😊

Suzanne’s cottage is super charming and comfortable! The grounds are gorgeous, the bed is comfy, and there were so many thoughtful touches. She knew it was our anniversary and left a bottle of champagne for us in the fridge, we had our kids with us, so she left smores makings. It’s definitely a small space, but we were there for just one night, and it was fine for our family of 4 with the kids sharing the futon. The new a/c unit kept us cool inside. We had fun watching frogs on the lily pad pond and feeding the chickens. This was a great spot for an overnight getaway, and we will definitely be back!

A splendid getaway in the woods with beautiful garden, cute goats, and cozy vibes. Jerre is a wonderful host that makes you feel at home. The two dogs and a cat always come by to say hello asking for pets. Hummingbird House is a serene hideaway for those that want to get away from the city and into nature. It was an experience we would absolutely do again. 😌
