Had such a lovely stay at Ashley & Simon's cottage. Me and my boyfriend felt right at home as soon as we got there and both hosts were so friendly from the get go. The decor was stunning and so homely - loved the artwork in the bedroom! Everything we needed was already equipped in the cottage. The bed was SUPER comfy and the hot tub was a great way to end our little week away 😍🛀 Would definitely stay here again if ever in Kelso! Highly recommend! ⭐️

Probably the best Air B&B we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in a lot! Fabulous scenery with wildlife outside your door. Welcome pack included roses, wine and the best home made lemon drizzle cake we’ve ever tasted. Unfortunately we had to leave a couple of days early due to my health, but we will be back at some stage, that’s for sure.

we had a lovely restful stay at the cottage and would thoroughly recommend a stay here. The cottage was perfect and equipped very well. There was a large welcome hamper which was much appreciated. We made full use of the pool and hot tub and enjoyed a walk round the lakes. will certainly recommend. thankyou

Incredible views around Elie, the coast and golf course. The property is highly specced and we could not be happier with our visit. Fiona provides clear instructions on how to access the property. Will definitely be back!!

Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. Fabulous! We had 6 days at the Old Piggery and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts are brilliant and the accommodation equally brilliant too. Peaceful location, well kept gardens, lovely hot tub and there was everything we needed at the accommodation. The hosts also left us some lovely surprises/treats too. Very thoughtful! We enjoyed it so much we didn't want to come home and we will be back again in future. Thank you Sue and Phil!

Absolutely loved my 2 night stay, felt like I was in complete luxury ✨️ Was spotless, modern, amazing bathroom & facilities! Bed was so comfortable, hot tub was easy to heat, the little on site pub was brilliant fun!

I absolutely loved this serene little guesthouse tucked away just outside of Edinburgh. It was very nice, clean, and functional for our family group. It was easy to navigate from there to surrounding areas by car. Ali was so personable and friendly! Truly a pleasure to stay here, and we would gladly stay again!

Great find here in Beadnell. Property spotless and host easily contactable. Lovely little touches to make it feel really homely. Didn’t cook much whilst here but there seemed to be everything you would need. Great location and proximity to Craster arms which serves great variety of food and beer. We’ve visited the area several times but never stayed in Beadnell. We’ll definitely return.

Just wow! We’ve just got back from a simply amazing stay at Pam & Richard’s beautiful cottage. Some highlights for us were: 1) the little touches from treats for the dog to home baking, we felt so well looked after 2) the beautiful surroundings, it was so peaceful, no photos can really do it justice 3) the cottage itself, the beds were so comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless and it had everything you need. Pam and Richard were just lovely, and whilst they’re just next door, they didn’t impose at all, we had some brilliant recommendations for walks and food. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you both! x

One of the nicest holiday let's ive stayed in. Beautiful surroundings and countryside to explore. Lovely home with lots of amenities.

If you are looking for a week off-grid then we would definitely recommend the Hemmel, it was everything we needed and more. Our favourite bits were the views, the peacefulness, and the red squirrels running across the stone wall in the garden! We can’t wait to come back again and explore more of Northumberland. Kate was an excellent host who was extremely helpful and very friendly. We based our plans off her comprehensive local guide folder and filled the rest of the time with the wide variety or board games, books, and DVDs!

Loved our stay at the Thatched Cottage. A haven of peace & quiet and perfect location to explore the beautiful towns of the Scottish Borders. The cottage itself was immaculately clean and very well appointed. Looking forward already to a return visit.

Great cottage for a couple or small family. Wish we had a dog. Giddy Gannet very friendly cafe. Easy walk to Elie and the Ship or Pitenween and the lovely Dory Bistro. Tidal pool at Pitenween for the brave swimmers. Anstruther has large Co-op and Bread and Beer on front is lovely in the evening. Had 4-5 days of glorious weather in the East Neuk. Don’t miss the market at Bowhouse if you get a chance it’s very good.

Our stay at Foulbog was idyllic! The cottage and surroundings were beautiful. Lindsay was a great host and we would highly recommend a stay here!

Great location, very peaceful and quiet. surrounded by beautiful rural views, overlooking a very old bridge and river, great walks and friendly locals. Very well placed for getting around by car, the A1 easily accessible. A bus stop across the road too. Lovely pub a few doors away and a trendy coffee shop and bar over the bridge. The cottage was really lovely, clean comfortable and homely with a well equipped kitchen. The beds were extremely comfy with quality white Egyptian cotton bedding, window shutters and blinds in the main bedroom so it was still nice and dark in the morning... slept like a log! The shower over the bath was powerful and the bathroom nice and clean with a powerful fan. ( no window but not stuffy. We had a great stay and didn't want to leave. absolutely perfect!

From the initial contact, through the booking process & the stay itself, we would rate The Den as a 5* choice. Amanda was helpful, friendly and approachable, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was spotless. The added touches were very much appreciated. The access to a greater selection on the tv was another bonus. In summary, our all round experience was excellent. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Location was great - walkable into Melrose with many restaurants and pubs. Great place to explore the Scottish borders

The Bread oven was very comfortable, well equipped and furnished particularly if you want to cook your own meals. The china, cutlery and utensils were all of a much better quality than most Airbnbs .We enjoyed being to sit in an attractive garden. The home made bread, shortbread biscuits, fruit juice, butter, milk and jam were much appreciated and Andy and Sue were helpful and friendly hosts. It was also very useful to be able to charge our EV car on site. We were sent a comprehensive log book before we arrived with gave a lot of useful and helpful information about the cottage and the area. There was plenty of storage space both for clothes and food. We hope to return to explore more of the area than 3 days allowed.

Great place. Spacious, clean, comfortable. We saw the hare in the fields too. Near the A1 but not at all noisy. Lovely garden.

Loved our stay at middle cottage. We were on a golfing trip and Gullane, North Berwick and Kilspindie were all less than 20 minutes drive. Location was superb on the edge of East Linton village. Furnishings and linens were great! We felt right at home. It is clear Jan and Bryan have gone to a lot of trouble to welcome their guests. We were very comfortable despite the disappointing weather. (Sadly too inclement to enjoy the garden). The TPE train from East Linton to Edinburgh takes only 18 or 19 minutes which is so much quicker than driving.

Comfortable cottage, home from home with all the extras. Very near harbour- enjoyed breakfast outside in the sunshine on picnic tables nearby. Easy access to coastal path and outdoor tidal pool. Would stay again

Really lovely cottage had everything we needed and more. Jacqueline was a great host very friendly and helpful with suggestions for the local area. Very clean and extremely comfortable with a fantastic outdoor garden. Would highly recommend to anyone stopping in the area.

We felt right at home loverly view at the rear .Wish it had been a bit warmer to use the summer house more.Good location friendly village.Well house coffee shop does a great breakfast or loads of homemade cakes ,puddings only take cash .huge pot of tea for the money too. Host was very quick to respond very friendly .We will return soon.
