The stay at Casa do Rio do Jean was a unique and enchanting experience. The house has a beautiful view of the river and is surrounded by nature — a true haven in Soure. The atmosphere is simple, but cozy and full of personality. One of the most unusual (and unforgettable) moments was waking up and finding two buffaloes in the garden, grazing peacefully. Just as they appear, they leave, like good local hosts. They are super peaceful and end up becoming part of the charm of the place. The bicycles available were essential for our transportation — without them, we would hardly have explored the city and the beaches so much. They ensured autonomy and facilitated our experience in Soure. Jean was very responsive and attentive. At the time of our departure, he was already enthusiastically commenting on improvements he intends to make to the house, which shows his attention to detail and the well-being of guests.

Jean Christophe's house is a great find, perfect for both days of rest and as a base for getting to know other places. The house is spacious, very well decorated and equipped, with a delicious outdoor area that holds you most of the time by the stunning view of the beach and the delicious wind that blows there. Jean Christophe was super attentive to the questions I had about arriving at the house and getting around the island. Mr. Nil and Dona Lena, who take care of the house, were extremely friendly and helpful and take care of everything very well, which brings a great welcoming feeling. If you want to get to know Joanes (or go back there) I highly recommend Jean Christophe's house! 💝

My husband and I had a great stay at the apartment. Rodrigo and his wife were excellent hosts, always ready to help us. Special mention for the bed and sheets that are very comfortable!

Excellent stay, spacious, clean, cozy, the house itself is wonderfully beautiful, the rooms, the balcony, bathroom, living room. everything impeccable. 😍 exceptional for those looking for a quiet place with the family. I highly recommend it, and I'll say more... I'll be back more often.
