Cozy One Bedroom Apartment in the Country

What was originally a hay loft has been converted into a country chic barn apartment. We would love to host you and your friends and family (including actual kids and fur kids) on our property. Children love collecting eggs from the chicken coop and everyone loves a short hike to the creek. We are only an hour from Mammoth Cave National Park and an hour from Holiday World in Santa Claus Indiana. The local community has charming little shops, several restaurants, and The Beaver Dam amphitheater.

My husband and a couple co-workers were in town for a month long job at a local papermill. We were presently surprised when we for this location so close to the job site, about 10 minutes. It was perfect, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and all the amenities of home, complete with a beautiful view of the river right off the deck. Steve was so attentive to all our needs, made everything from the reservation to checkout a breeze! Highly recommend this Airbnb, it's home away from home.

We loved this property! We had been looking forward to some outdoor adventures but the rain had other plans. Luckily, there were so many ways to stay entertained and dry with the games and indoor activities provided by the host. We really felt like we were at home and we really appreciated pantry staples, a stick of butter, a bottle of ketchup, etc. Walmart is a short drive away, we mostly cooked at home! Every inconvenience you could think of, I feel like this host anticipated and brought solutions. Yes, it's an outdoorsy place so you will find bugs, big spiders, etc but the host had bug spray and everything we needed to stay comfortable. We were a bit worried about the temperature upstairs but again the host anticipated this, and provided plenty of fans. Heads up in case you missed it - there is one master suite downstairs with the double sink, shower, and garden tub. The rest of the beds are upstairs. This is a family stay, not a romantic stay.

Marissa was so responsive… and we were placed in the middle of Bluegrass country was simply amazing! I spent two days at Mammoth Caves National Park, and one day at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, jamming with other musicians, and one day at the Bill Monroe museum and homeplace in Rosine, Kentucky… It was an amazing! adventure!

Phaedra’s home was perfect for our group of three adults and six children. The kids enjoyed the bunk room and the wide open outdoor spaces to play. The home was well stocked with essentials that made cooking very easy. Phaedra was very helpful and responsive.
