Vacation rentals with a patio in Clifden

John’s sanctuary in Lisdoonvarna is 100%, hands down, the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The location is very out of the way in the best way - it felt so peaceful and was the perfect way to take in the Irish countryside. We received great hospitality from John, from check-in, which he assisted with on site, to local recommendations and prompt responses via chat. We will definitely plan another stay at this place again when in the area.

Comfortable space with a beautiful river view. There were a few minor hiccups that Mary promptly addressed. Visitors from the states should beware that European washing machines and dryers have VERY long cycles. Just the way things are. The Port Chipper just down the street has THE best fried cod we ate in all of Ireland. Steak burger also excellent. Had another fine meal at the Hotel Newport. Centra market in town remarkably well-stocked.

This place looked just like the pictures - actually it was bigger than we expected!! Beautiful location, super clean. Full kitchen was perfect for any kind of cooking we wanted to do. Absolutely lovely and would return!!

Elizabeth & Brian’s place was absolutely wonderful!! Bright and full of light and overlooks a beautiful bay! You can see both tide in and tide out. It’s an incredibly short walk to all shops, restaurants and bars. Clifton is such a fun town and so fun to explore! It is so close to castles, ruins, an abbey and all sorts of lovely site-seeing!! Communication was excellent! We would definitely stay here again!!

Really great spot - an easy walk to the Latin Quarter, the Westend, and the boarding location for ferries to the Aran Islands. The apartment is beautiful- clean, stylishly decorated, with great views of the water. Getting in involves a bit of a scavenger hunt and a series of codes, but Martin sent excellent instructions that made it easy. Highly recommend!

Access codes were confusing “to me”. However host was available at the drop of a hat to assist. 😊☘️

Lovely apartment in a central part of Galway! Joe was a great host and was very responsive to any queries I had. Would recommend to anyone looking for a city break in Galway!

We had a great experience staying at cathal’s place. It’s a spacious house with room for several cars outside. Having five bathrooms for eight people was ideal. Place was clean and well equipped. There’s a petrol station 200 meters down the road. Close to beaches and close to Louisburgh village. Cathal was easy to contact when needed. We struggled a little bit to find the place but Cathal was available on phone to help us. Would stay there again.

Often we stay in airbnbs to do laundry and save on meals. There’s always so much to see and do. Paula’s cottage is a place to just relax and enjoy the view whether in the kitchen or bedrooms or living room.

Sehr schönes und modenes Haus. Es war sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Stadtzentrum von Galway ist schnell zu erreichen und trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig ums Haus.

I’ve traveled to many countries across the world and stayed and numerous Airbnbs. Tappy’s Cottage is definitely in my top 3. What a charming cottage. It was perfect for a slow morning on the second half of our journey through Ireland. Theresa was also an amazing host. She was easy to communicate with and was kind enough to leave snacks and essentials for our arrival. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. What an amazing little place!

A beautiful place to stay at in the countryside! The Parlour was so cute and rustic inside and very comfortable. Ann was a responsive host and we took her recommendation for a nice walk along the nearby lanes. Altogether a lovely stay.

A lovely and cozy house in a peaceful location. We loved the quietness to get away from a busy city environment. Anna was super responsive and the welcome manual was really helpful and clear full with local recommendations. The house itself was clean and just felt really warm and welcoming. A perfect place to unwind and have quality time with the family!

Justin und Veronica sind großartige Gastgeber! Super freundlich und zuvorkommend und sie reagieren blitzschnell auf Nachrichten :-) Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben und sehr sauber. Die Küche war mit allem bestückt, selbst mit Grundnahrungsmitteln, sodass man gut in den Tag starten konnte, auch wenn man es eventuell vorher noch nicht in einen Supermarkt geschafft hätte. Das Bett war sehr bequem das Zimmer an sich sehr geräumig. Wir kommen gern wieder.

The views from the house and the peaceful location were everything that I was hoping for. You definitely need a car to get around, as indicated in the description, but the local shop and pub are within easy walking distance. The house was clean and tidy, and pleasantly warm as well. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen with everything you could want. There were 4 adults in my party and we each got a room to ourselves, but you could easily fit twice as many people and the house wouldn't feel crowded. Stunning area with plenty of wonderful hikes and things to see within 15-45 mins away. Loved it!

Lovely place a few minutes walk to a handful of great pubs and restaurants. Apartment was clean and well stocked with extra towels, etc. Great communication from Fiona prior to our stay which included lots of useful suggestions on things to do and places to see in the area.

Immaculate. The space was perfect. I didn’t want to touch half of the unit because of how clean it was. James even had many snacks and sundries for us like bread, milk, butter and anything else you needed to make a meal. Walking distance from the city and a perfect place to spend a few days in Galway. If I come back, this is where I’ll be staying. Highly recommend.

A tiny bit squirrely to find with Galway’s one way streets, but once we found it, the host was waiting to show us in and tell us everything we needed to know. Super comfortable space, easily walkable to local attractions, very nice local people. We enjoyed our stay in Galway.

Beautiful views, in ideal location. The accommodation itself was clean and has everything you need.

Hosts have worked hard to create a modern space. We especially appreciated the washing machine, dishwasher and walk-in shower. Beautiful country views and a friendly dog that loved our pats. Host Vinny greeted us and made sure we were comfortable.
