Quiet Private Lake House in Elk

This was the perfect spot for a long weekend with 3 generations. Three nice bedrooms with private baths, plus a half bath off the kitchen gave us each our own space. An open kitchen, living and dining area made it perfect for being together. We made good use of the large, eat at island with comfortable chairs. My 89 year old father-in-law especially appreciated the swivel chairs with arm rests to help him get up and down with ease. The kitchen was well stocked with nice pots and pans, but it would have been nice to have more plates and forks, so we didn’t have to wash them between each meal. The kitchens up and down are both large and clean. We brought all of our food for three days, so we had plenty of room to store stuff. My son, wife and two year old daughter were in heaven with the kayaks, row boat, paddle boat and two person paddle board. They even talked us old fogies into getting out on the water. It was a chilly weekend, so the hot tub was great too. Hope to return!

Highly recommend this beautiful spot for a getaway! Grateful for this Airbnb and its hospitable hosts. The space was fantastic for our large group of young adults and young families. Highlights of the space were the spacious kitchen, porch seating, pool area, fire pit, and of course the amazing tree house & zipline! So many special memories made!

Carmen’s place was just right for my mother-in-laws stay! It’s located in the lower level of their home overlooking the beautiful backyard and pond. Carman was fantastic to work with, she was super responsive and welcomed us upon arrival! The accommodations were cute, clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We will utilize her place again in the future!

We had such a wonderful time at this lovely property on the lake! It was so perfect for our needs and Molly has thought of every little detail for her guests. We enjoyed the kayaks, the fire pit, the donut floaties, and we loved eating our meals on the deck looking out at the beautiful view of the lake. We loved every minute of our stay. We would love to stay here again when we go back to Long Lake in the future!
