This is the perfect place to come to rest and relax. We have board games,puzzles & books inside as well as yard games outside. Nearby forest land is less than a half mile away, plenty of room for riding horses or quads. There are neighbors, however we do not have the noise of traffic or loud music. The most noise we usually hear is the occasional elk bugling near by in the woods or the moo of a cow from a neighboring farm. And on a clear night you will be able to see a billion stars in the sky!

A spacious outdoor deck features wooden railings and a smooth, dark wood floor. Two comfortable chairs and a round dining table with four chairs are present, providing a spot for relaxation or dining. Surrounding trees offer a natural ambiance to the space.

Wonderful stay “off the grid”! I used the weekend away for a solo trip and deeply enjoyed the view of the stars and peaceful quiet. Steven and Kitty were proactive and responsive hosts and the home was just as described and pictured! Highly recommend if you are looking for an off-grid experience, that is already set up with everything you need!

A very nicely appointed, immaculate and comfortable "cabin" on the outskirts of Show Low. It is in a development of such cabins, and there was a bit of road noise from the 260 on the back deck. However nice forest dominates the view and the back deck is well equipped for outdoor living. The host was professional and thoughtful. Definitely recommend as a base for the area.

Our family of 5 adults and 2 children had a wonderful week here! Amber and Ben were very responsive and had great suggestions for local hiking spots. We appreciated the quiet community that is close to everything but where you are still surrounded by pine trees and nature. We loved the game room - it provided a separate space for some of the adults to stay up late and play games without waking up the kids and the adults who wanted to sleep! There was plenty of room for our family to hang out and eat meals together. Lots of outdoor room to hang out as well. We recommend this spot for your family get together.
