House vacation rentals in Clare County

My family and I had a great experience at Connie's lake house. It felt like we were at a resort. We did have some issue at first with the hot tub heating as mentioned by others (possibly user error), but after contacting Connie she responded right away and reset the thermostat. The back deck was beautiful and the layout of the house with numerous bay windows offered perfect views of the lake and sunset. The neighborhood is also great to walk around with very friendly people and there was even a very small petting zoo owned and maintained by one of the neighbors which was fun for the kids. Overall I would highly recommend!

This location was beautiful. The amenities were fun, and the only thing missing was enough time to do them all. Jonathan was responsive and the house was small, but plenty spacious for 10 people if you like each other. There was always some spot an introvert could go to be alone for a while. Wonderful stay.

We stayed for the Thanksgiving holiday as our family lives right across the street. The property could not have been more accommodating with location and was supplied with everything we needed. The host Kristi was great to work with!! We would definitely recommend and we will certainly be staying again in the future.

Very serene and peaceful. The wrap-around porch pairs beautifully with the heavily wooded and hill-ridden geography. Just down the road is a gorgeous lake and though we did not have the chance to utilize the public lake access, the view at the guardrail on the bend of the road is within walking distance and is a great spot to pull off and enjoy the scenery. Less than 10 minutes away is a great pizza place and a small town bar and grill. There are also a few parks nearby. Highly suggest for a small group looking to escape the bustle, or a group looking for a golf retreat.

Host was very responsive to questions/needs as they came up. Was very accurate with description on property. Definitely would consider staying here again.

This was a great place in a great location for our family who had events to attend in nearby Big Rapids. As this was a winter trip can only imagine the house and the whole area would make for a fantastic holiday.

FANTASTIC FIND!! Such a perfect place for a large group. Hosts have a done a great job of making a previous commercial property feel like a home. Truly an awesome find! The pool is an amazing amenity - remarkably huge, wonderfully heated and so much fun! Hours and hours of fun. Truly unique. So many in house activities available - pool table, b-ball toss, putting game, shuffleboard and tons of games. Was perfect for our group of teens. Six shower rooms with sinks/toilets and two more bathrooms made it easy to get the crew out quickly. :) The lockers were wonderful to keep necessities near the shower rooms - surprisingly helpful. Seemingly endless towels were greatly appreciated. Easy to Cadillac / Lake City restaurants and shopping. Convenient to day trip to slopes and summer fun, too. Compact kitchen had everything we needed and two other full size fridges allowed for more than enough space for our big group. Totally worth it; the hosts have made a great place!!

We love it it was a quite had fun with the kids the fire pit and they had toys for kids to play very cozy home the view was beautiful

Beautiful views! Spotless and brand new! Very nice accommodations. We had family nearby visiting and the space was great for our family game nights and dinners for our group. We had seven people that stayed and an additional 4-5 that joined during the day and the space didn’t feel crowded.

House is clean and just as described. The private campground is wonderful for families lots to do!

Wonderful home on Long Lake! Enjoyed our stay here last year so much our girls golf group all wanted to return. The house is well equipped and very welcoming. The outdoor space is great, everything from kayaks to fire pit, ready for use! The beautiful, huge upper deck was great for grilling and enjoying our meals outdoors, viewing lake activity and the new Edison light strings were stunning! There was plenty of room for our group of nine. Communication with Teresa was outstanding, quickly responding to our questions. Thank you again Teresa for accommodating our group!

we had a great stay. 1 suggestion is more functional furniture for eating purposes for more guests. very nice place and nice supply of toiletries incase you forget something.

This was the perfect place for our group! Harrison is my mom's hometown, and we convened with family for a few joint birthdays. Sue was so sweet! She even brought over taco shell holders after we mentioned we would be having a taco dinner night!! All in all, the house is beautiful, well-appointed, and the location is amazing. I would absolutely stay here again!

As always Jen was amazing! Always friendly and helpful! Checked in on us multiple times to make sure we didnt need anything!!

I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful host, and his beautiful place on the lake. We had another host cancel on us less than 24 hours before we were scheduled to arrive, and there were 14 of us! Jeff and his cohost Michelle took us on, and went above and beyond in getting the place ready to welcome us. The home was lovely - tastefully decorated, spacious, comfortable, and absolutely perfect for a big family get together. No AC but ceiling fans everywhere. The large island in the kitchen was great place to lay out food for our crowd, and socialize. Huge decks overlook the lake and beach area, and the house sits on the lakeshore in such a way that you feel like you have plenty of privacy. Lots of extras for entertaining the kids (play room, beach chairs & toys, books, games, a paddle boat, and lily pad for water fun), and there was a row boat, and kayaks as well. Beds were very comfortable. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. I highly recommend booking a stay!

Kimberly’s house was great for our Memorial Day vacation. The space was very accommodating for our 2.5 year old providing a spacious living room, kitchen, and outdoor patio. There were also many games and fun things to keep her entertained during the colder weather in the morning. She also very much enjoyed the jet tub for her bath time. I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone wanting to visit Elbow lake or want their own space when visiting friends in the area!

My family had a great stay being able to have a bonfire and hang out with old family and friends.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The house was cozy and decorated so well. We really felt right at home. The location was great, close to downtown easy access to the highway and the setting is so peaceful. Tamara and Doug were great hosts and we cannot wait to come back! Loved this lake house! The view is amazing to wake up to, the lake is peaceful, and the town was friendly and had a lot to offer! everyone we met was friendly. A special shout out to General Store owner John, who went out of his way to give us a history lesson on Lake and the family owned General store. Kelidascope coffee and gifts is another cool place with great food! the house had everything we needed and 2 full bathrooms! Well designed so that a bathroom is right off the huge backyard so folks can dry off without going through the house. Highly recommend this great spot!

Our stay in this cute little cabin was very enjoyable. It is clean and cozy. the bed was very comfortable. It has everything required for some rest and relaxation. Even our dogs approved. 🐾
