Relax & unwind in our beautiful guest cottage & spa! Set amongst a native forest behind our house for privacy, you might even forget that you're in the middle of Christchurch! The cottage is a cosy retreat with a stocked kitchenette, and even a BBQ and outdoor eating area to enjoy. Local eateries and restaurants, swimming pools and shopping malls are just a walking distance away, & we're only a 10-minute drive to the airport, zoos, botanic gardens, reserves, & the city center.

Copper Beech Cottage is perfect for those looking for a cosy, romantic getaway. Surrounded by large trees, beautiful woodland gardens, across the road from the Ōpāwaho River and the sound of birdsong at your doorstep, you are bound to feel relaxed and at home in our bespoke cottage. Staying in a tiny home is an unforgettable experience — and we hope you’ll fall in love with this space just as we have. Please note: The spa is closed for the season from October 1 to February 28.

Avonview Cottage

Avonview Cottage is a cosy place, warm in winter and cool in summer (with heatpump and HRV). There is a full kitchen, with large fridge/freezer, microwave, ceramic cooktop (4 burners) and an oven. The bathroom has a nice hot shower and a small vanity. There’s also a front loading washing machine for you to use. The Avon River is very close by and the area is very quiet. A New World supermarket is only a 10 minute walk away and there are lots of other shops and restaurants around.

Garden Studio With Ensuite (Breakfast included)

Welcome to our ensuite studio, surrounded by a peaceful, green & relaxing garden. Perfect for recovering from a long flight. 10 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes to the central city Plenty of off street parking and an excellent bus service to the central city. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk. Please be aware that the kitchen & dining area are in the main house and are shared with the hosts. You are very welcome to use both areas. Airport transfers are $15 each way.

This is a 1/4 acre section open-plan quiet and relaxing space close to the central city. Bedroom, living room and kitchen space all occupy an open plan. A comfy sofa bed can be made up this incurs a cost of $25 Per Night. You have access to a shared garden, bush, flowers, ferns and spa/hot tub. SPA complimentary for you. Walnut Tree Meditation Hut.
