This is a self contained annex above a double garage (please note low roof angles in places) with an independent door. It has one king size bed with some seating and a TV and dinning table. There is a small kitchenette including a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. The ensuite has a basic electric shower and usual amenities. There is internet available. If you would like to bring a child please contact us before to check if suitable. There is parking on the main road or opposite in a Close.

Beautifully furnished, romantic and spacious ancient dovecote in a gorgeous peaceful countryside setting, the thick stone walls make it warm and cosy in winter, cool in summer as well as quiet and private. Private heated swimming pool available in summer. Upstairs there is a luxurious super kingsize bed, a rolltop bath, a huge velvet sofa and a 50" TV and downstairs is a shower room, kitchen and large dining area. The Annexe at the Coppice - Self contained

Shalbourne is a beautiful village about 3 miles from Hungerford and 8 miles from Marlborough and in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We have a friendly village pub which has a large and varied menu and a village shop which serves delicious fresh coffee and pastries. The Annexe is a comfortable twin-bedded studio set in our 2 acre garden which has far reaching views over the surrounding countryside. There are great walks and cycle rides from our front door.

This charming Victorian terraced cottage is situated in the heart of Kintbury. There are plenty of lovely walks nearby and the Kennet & Avon canal is within easy reach for fishing and cycling. The village has 2 nice pubs, a very good corner store and a delicatessen just a few minute's walk away. The property is also only a short distance from the station for trains to Newbury/Hungerford (5 minutes), Reading (35 minutes) or London (50 minutes).

Was great to stay here , great to have the drive for my van , can easily walk to hungerford for bars and shops , got Tesco close by and the train station , it’s lovely and quiet inside and absolutely spotless just a perfect stay

Caroline's studio is a lovely space. The bed was comfortable, the shower very efficient, the kitchen had all the essentials. Caroline kindly left milk, teas, ground coffee and biscuits. The studio is in the garden of Caroline's beautiful house. I would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet night or two in the area.

Stunning Parkland Barn Retreat

We had a terrific stay at the Barn! Really lovely property with trails through the meadow and woods, different areas to hang out, as well as swings, ping pong, and croquet to keep everyone entertained. Our two young kids especially loved the massive Brio set, toys, and books! Sarah left delectable treats and crumpets and was gracious in setting a late check out time so we could enjoy our morning and pack up. Really idyllic location with different walking paths, pubs, and conveniently located near Newbury. The Barn itself was thoughtfully designed and decorated. Sarah and her family were incredibly warm and pleasant hosts, while giving us our privacy as well. We’ll definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Mirror Houses in Oxford. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, welcoming, and beautifully thought-out. The cabin itself is stunning — immaculately clean, stylish, and so cosy, with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially in the evenings when we could unwind and take in the surroundings. Lucy was an exceptional host — warm, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful throughout. Travelling with our 9-week-old baby, we were a little nervous, but Lucy went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her kindness and attention to detail genuinely made our stay feel special and memorable. We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already talking about when we might come back. A perfect little retreat — we couldn’t recommend it more

We had a lovely couple of days at Alice's place. I booked it as a surprise for my wife's birthday and she loved it. The homely finishing touches made it all the more special. Alice and James were very helpful and friendly and were on hand if we needed anything, we were sad to leave. Many thanks Alice and James.

We had such a great time at Meriel's place. It's clearly a loved family home- it was fantastically set up for kids with dedicated bedrooms, lots of crockery/cutlery, and our 4yo and 2yo absolutely LOVED all the toys and games! The location was spot on, easy walking distance to the high street and the canal, but still nice and quiet. Meriel was really easy to communicate with and very responsive when something went wrong. Would definitely recommend for families with small children.
