House vacation rentals in Chikaming Township

Can’t say enough good things about Fer’s place and his co-host, Tom. The place looks exactly like the photos. The pool is amazing, the screened-in porch is amazing, and the property is incredible. The house was - and I can’t stress this enough - very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished/decorated. The hosts are incredibly gracious and responsive. We only had one minor issue, which Tom responded to quickly, and Tom provided plenty of recommendations for the surrounding area. It’s close to Sawyer, Three Oaks, St. Joseph, New Buffalo, and Warren Dunes State Park - so there’s lots to do around the area. Can’t recommend Las Moras enough.

What a wonderful stay our family had in Michiana Shores, Indiana at Greg’s place. Even though 2 of the 3 days were mostly overcast / rain, there was still plenty of activities to do. We hung out in the pool & hot tub areas multiple times, had a fire every night, and cooked all 3 meals each day in the wonderfully maintained kitchen. The kids loved their room setup with the bunk bed and twin bed. The parks nearby are lovely. The backyard was very luscious with tranquility full of greenery and peacefulness. Greg was very responsive and helped us out with questions before and during our stay. Definitely would recommend this spot if you are wanting to take a vacation near the nationally known Indiana Sand Dunes. Overall 5+ stars!

My girlfriends and I had a great stay! Ann’s place was peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing outside, watching the animals and soaking in the hot tub. We will definitely be back!

This house was so beautiful and was a perfect place to spend a girl’s weekend! Would recommend over and over again and would definitely stay here again! Mike was also very quick at responding (even on the weekend) and when something wasn’t right he was very quick it fix it.

We all walked in and said WOW! It was beautiful and had so much charm. We have stayed in many rentals and this was by far the cleanest and most organized. We traveled with 3 couples and there was plenty of room to gather and socialize and room to just chill by yourself. The boardwalk made for a wonderful morning walk. Brittany was a terrific host answering any questions I had and providing a list of thing to do in the area. Certainly worth the money! We would definitely stay again. Rita

The girls and I planned a weekend getaway in this house. Our favorite part was the screened in porch in the middle of the yard. Us girls literally spent each night outside catching up. Such a wonderful weekend away at such a peaceful place. We would definitely come back.

I recently stayed with a few of my girlfriends for the weekend here. My friends and I absolutely loved this place. It was in a picturesque setting, and we loved how cozy it was. We especially enjoyed having the hot tub, the access to the public pool with clubhouse, and being able to walk to the beach to see the sunsets. We were able to enjoy a fire every night within the fire pit and loved being near the woods and the pond. Kristen was extremely responsive and a great host. My girlfriends and I would definitely stay again. We absolutely loved it here! Location is perfect for visiting lots of restaurants, wineries, and enjoying the best of Southwest Michigan.

The most adorable cottage and getaway for my husband and I! I am picky and this one checked all the boxes. We loved being right across the street from the private access beach, walkable to Whistle Stop, comfortable and super clean accommodations - everything feels well thought out from the sheets to the design choices and we appreciated all of the details. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed Lisa’s home. Very cozy and with many personal touches. Loved the fireplace and wooded surroundings. The heat and hot water worked well. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds and bedrooms are a bit small and one of the best parts of the house is the outdoor area - which isn’t really useable when the weather turns cold as it did when we visited. Lisa and Allison were lovely to deal with and very responsive to our inquiries. I’d go back.

Tim’s place was magical! Perfect location for two families to come together for the weekend and enjoy time together while also having some private, extra space with the guest house. The weekend was perfect thanks to this great location, beautiful home & gracious hosts!

One of the best Airbnbs in Sawyer! The property is located at the end of a nicely paved and quiet street, surrounded by mature trees for privacy. The house looks exactly as pictured, updated with modern touches. It is in a prime location if you are visiting Warren Dunes, with the state park entrance being just a mile up the road. We also visited Union Pier and New Buffalo, both just a short drive away. There was heat wave during our time here, so we opted not to use the hot tub, but the AC kept us comfortable! Jason was an excellent host. I would highly recommend this Airbnb if you're looking for a place to stay in the area!

What a wonderful place and great host! David was proactive to provide clear instructions on how exactly to find the place. We were able to check-in early which was extremely helpful for our family. The space was lovely—clean, modern and bright. The area was private and quiet. The noisiness neighbors were the woodchuck and squirrels playing on the deck! The beds were comfortable and shower had great pressure. Being minutes from the dunes, restaurants and wineries were so nice. We’d definitely book again if we visited Sawyer!

An incredible home in the most peaceful setting. This was our first family trip with our infant son, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. The house had everything we needed, and was very spacious. Anything else we needed was less than a 15 minute drive away, and had beautiful scenery on the drives!

Our eldest was 85! Our youngest was 17 months old! Lots of ages in between! Everyone always found something to do! This is a spacious house and very practically furnished! You never feel crowded! I can’t think of a thing we needed in the kitchen! It was equipped with everything! The beach was pristine, with the waves of Lake Michigan, which you could see from the Sun/Game room! The walk down to the beach was so easy, and when you came back up to the house, you felt you had just had your workout for the day! Every time we had a question for the host or co-hosts, we had an immediate answer! If you want an easy, relaxing vacation, give ShangraLa a try!

Loved our stay at Peter and Sarah's home. It was perfect for our "Girls Weekend." Very welcoming and cozy, with comfy furniture and two beautiful heat producing fireplaces. The kitchen had every utensil and cookware we needed to prepare our food. Having a two car garage was a plus. I would definitely recommend this house for a Girls Weekend or a get away for Couples. Sarah and Peter were very accommodating, and got back to me quickly with answers to my questions or requests. Throughly enjoyed our stay.

very clean and close to the cute downtown area. The access to the outer deck was blocked due to some construction and I wish there was access to a grill. Otherwise everything was good

We had a wonderful stay on our very first dog-cation! Our cockapoo Woody loved being able to run around the huge backyard and through “the maze” off leash. We also loved the screened in back porch. Very close to Warren Dunes state park and all the wineries. Would stay here again!

We had a fabulous weekend at Karen's cottage. It was quiet, cozy, and the perfect getaway from the city noise. Her thoughtfully curated home felt like stepping into a quaint 70's oasis. The home backs up to a heavily wooded area and our pup could not get enough!

I cannot say enough good things about Pete’s place. It was so beautiful, so cozy, and so incredibly well-kept. I had a group of 10 girls here for a bachelorette and we all agreed that we’ll be coming back to Pete’s place, whether it be as friends or with our families. We made some incredible memories here and I can’t wait to return! Also, the neighbors are extremely friendly and the walk to the beach was simple. The surrounding area is great for morning walks, and the local coffee shops and restaurants are phenomenal. Pete, thank you for opening your home to us!

We were so thrilled with the stay. The house was beautifully decorated and everything in the house was top quality. The home in Sawyer MI was such a beautiful, modern, and clean stay. It’s less than a quarter mile to Warren Dunes state park, which has an incredible beach, as well as a great family spot for ice cream. It’s also 20 minutes from Silver beach in St. Joseph which is a must-visit location. Christina was a great host, who was extremely responsive and detailed in her instructions, making the check in and check out easy.
