Cabin vacation rentals in Chiemgau Alps

Communication was mega from start to finish! First contact via AirBNB and totally The location is a dream, the amenities and flair really good! We didn't want to leave.

We were there with a group and had a great time. The cabin absolutely met our needs. Everything you need is available. The view is outstanding And the hot tub was our absolute highlight. I'd love to come back.

Loved this warm, quaint home! The house has a charming, historical feel, but with modern convenience in all the right places. The town of Bad Tölz is lovely and located near fantastic things to do! We would visit again in a heartbeat!

Johanna's log cabin is a nice house with everything you need for a short break at Lake Irrsee. The rooms are a bit small, but there is enough storage space to accommodate everything and to be able to move freely. Beware of bed lengths and large guests (we overlooked this in the description, but went anyway). The large kitchen is very well equipped. A pan on the induction stove did not work for us and Johanna was there with a new pan within a very short time! 🙂 The living area and the large well-equipped terrace invite you to relax. A mini minus for us was that we thought the house was right by the lake. However, there is a sports/football field directly in between. Was used very little during our stay. The lake access is within walking distance and very pleasant and quiet with a small catering station. All in all, it was a very relaxing stay for us. We will be happy to come back. 😊

I felt very comfortable right away. The log cabin is beautifully located in the middle of a large courtyard, it has everything you need and is a great starting point to explore the surroundings. A really great stay :)

Very cozy and clean accommodation, with everything you need for a few days of rest and tranquility. Winter sports and hiking opportunities at the front door. We felt very welcome and comfortable.

Outstanding accommodation, the location is a dream, you are totally on your own and can start hiking directly from the cottage. The terrace overlooking the mountains and valley is breathtaking. Andreas was always very easy to reach and helped with tips. We were also able to get meat and salads for a barbecue evening. He provides excellent food. I highly recommend the place.

It was a beautiful stay and exactly what I needed to break away. The area was calm and quiet with a beautiful backdrop of the Alps right at your doorstep. Lisa & Pietra were really helpful throughout. I would definitely come back here!

Ute and her family were so kind and warm. Always available. Helpful with everything you needed, including leisure tips. The cottage was fantastically beautiful. The location as well. All in all, a dream. We'll be back.

We have now been to the cottage for the second time and were overwhelmed again: the view, the air, the animals - we would have liked to have stayed longer. Thank you!! We will definitely be back :))

We stayed at Unger’s family cabin and it was an absolutely wonderful stay, we needed a quiet time and to relax and this cabin offered us that. The cabin is very clean, the kitchen has everything you need to cook and they have a variety of games, we had brought our own games but we ended up just using their board games. It’s also very private and it’s quiet, they are very friendly and very sweet. If you are looking to unwind and also do other activities this is place is for you.

Cute little garden hut, as described. Quiet and nice view into the garden. Cosy warm also in Winter. Ingrid was very helpful.

We (two adults and two infants) stayed at the farmhouse for four nights. Check-in and communication with Kirsten was quick and smooth. The equipment in the kitchen as well as in the entire accommodation was more than sufficient (children's dishes, high chair, baked goods, plenty of blankets, etc.) The views from the property are stunning. There are ample hiking trails and activities from the farmhouse (also many children's playgrounds, parks, lakes, etc.) The only thing you have to be aware of is that the house is an old farmhouse and therefore the cleanliness cannot be as good as in a new building. That's why it takes getting used to crawling kids. A car is also definitely necessary, as the shopping facilities are downstairs in the valley; which is actually clear. Conclusion: It was a great place for all of us for an extended weekend.

Were visiting Mittererb for a week with our children during the Pentecost holidays. The summer house was exactly what we were looking for. Well separated from the neighbors on the outskirts. The wooden furniture is all new and built with love by our own carpenter. The top equipped cozy log cabin immediately grew on us. We used the barbecue in the garden every night. Pauline warmly welcomed us and gave us good tips for our excursions. The lakes in the area are very beautiful and also suitable for swimming in June. We will be back!!!

The facilities were nice and cozy. Communication was fast. They were proactive in trying to help. It was a special experience. I was satisfied with the 5-star campsite.

We were very satisfied. The hosts were very friendly, we could order rolls, milk and eggs every morning. Everything worked out great. The pool area with the view is really nice. You can relax very well and enjoy the tranquility. Glad to come back :)

We had a great week in a well-equipped, very nicely located forest cottage...With the guest card we could reach Innsbruck by bus...and the bus shuttle to the Zirbenweg...The weather was great and we felt very comfortable! There are other huts next to the hut (nice neighbors), but the garden is not visible and you are surrounded by nature. From the garden you also have a beautiful view of the mountains....for the reception Carmen provided drinks, a nice surprise! The forest chalet is highly recommended!

The beekeeper's house was very cozy, authentic and equipped with many loving details. We had beautiful game evenings at the tiled stove and in front of the fireplace, enjoyed the peace in nature or experienced great ski days. Constantin (landlord) was always available, but everything was self-explanatory or factual information was available. Everything was to our satisfaction and we will definitely come back, so highly recommended. An all-round successful stay, thank you so much for the wonderful time!
