Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Chéticamp

Darling home on the edge of a small inlet, on the outskirts of Chéticamp. The house was just as described and had everything we could have needed during our stay. Great base if you’re looking for a place to stay along the Cabot Trail. Would recommend! (I would also recommend L’abri and Woodroad if you’re looking for excellent restaurants in the area :))

Sharon’s riverside cottage was a great end to our NS vacation. We spent many hours enjoying all the amazing seating areas on the property, but especially enjoyed coffee and meals down on the water. Sharon made us feel at home and was the most amazing host we’ve had throughout our stay. We would recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing location on Cape Breton.

This place was a true haven on our journey through Nova Scotia. Thanks so much to the excellent hosts for all the thoughtful touches (like coffee cream and excellent recommendations) AND for arranging lobsters for us. There is a lovely beach just down the road and some great hiking trails nearby. Highly recommended

1. Place is amazing. It's better than it looks in photos. 2. We absolutely loved the cleanliness and the way everything was setup. Small touches of perfection everywhere. Even the home temperature was perfect. 3. We loved the goodies. They were like a pleasant surprise. 4. The views were absolutely stunning. Could watch it all day long. 5. Many great trails including skyline trails are short drive. 6. Host Daniel was super responsive, helpful, and kind with everything. 7. The kitchen was well setup. Everything that we could have asked for, was there. Thank you for setting up the place in such a wonderful way. This place is highly recommended if you are in the area and want a nice peaceful place to stay.

Beautiful and private. The only problem was that the weather wasn’t great for kayaking.

Everything looks just like the pictures, very clean and well cared for. Beds were super comfy, kitchen was well stocked, including little kid plates, cutlery and stool which my four year old was so excited about! Appreciated the wifi and smart tv, could stream and cast to tv with no issues for those rainy movie nights. My husband played the Cabot Cliffs, your about 20 minutes or less from Inverness. Nick is also a great host, I asked for recommendations on where to go to eat, and the recommendations were awesome. Wow what a view from the wrap around deck. Had coffee out there a few times! It’s a special place and easily one of the nicest Air B and B’s we stayed at on our tour of the Maritimes. Would highly recommended. Thanks for the great stay:)

The lodge was beautiful. The location was so peaceful and with amazing views. I would love to come back one summer and see the area in a different season. Michael was a fab host and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much.

Karen’s Airbnb is very nice, clean, well appointed and comfortable. Karen is a responsive and personable host who quickly solved a problem with a malfunctioning appliance and made us feel more than comfortable to contact her if anything should arise. Would highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful time in Cheticamp. John was helpful for suggestions about hiking and restaurants. I would highly recommend his beautiful place.

The place was very easy to find and had a beautiful view of the water! We enjoyed our stay!! Our host was responsive and gave clear and concise instructions and suggestions!

We booked Kathryn’s as a night out. Unfortunately my husband ended up on call all weekend and I ended up having to go into work myself for a few hours. Kathryn was accommodating to allow us to park his work vehicle in the driveway, and we were able to get in and out easily. The apartment was cozy, and comfortable. It was a great stay for us aside from both of us having to work, and it had everything we needed.

We wouldn’t change a thing! The house was adorable, spotless, has a beautiful view and Vee left muffins and fruit in the house waiting for us! Loved being able to use a washer and dryer, everything seemed new and comfy, not like “leftovers” being used to decorate a rental. Do not pass on this home!!!

Staying at Clarke & Shelley’s was great! The place was very nice, tidy and clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. There was shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. The rooms were spacious and the windows let in a lot of natural light. The place felt very private, as there is nobody else living in the house (the top floor is just for storage). Great to see the sun setting over the sea on a cloudless evening. Shelley was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable.

This suite feels like staying in a 5-star hotel! We have stayed at Airbnbs in many parts of the world and this was the best. The space is comfortable and carefully curated to feel warm and welcoming. There are so many additional touches that elevate the experience. We also appreciated the private patio overlooking the lake within walking distance from town. Excellence!

Place was very modern and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped. Great view of the coast. Rick was very friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay. I give this place top marks.

We enjoyed our stay in Port Hood. Wish we had more time there to explore Cape Breton. Very easy to gaze out at the water and lose track of time.

Such an awesome place. This place is excellent for a big crew. Lots of room. The view from balcony is amazing. Would recommend to anyone.
