Lake house vacation rentals in Chesuncook Lake

I was looking for a comfortable place to stay while my husband and I were town, and this was definitely it! We felt right comfortable and right at home, and it was wonderful having the whole place to ourselves. The location is beautiful and tranquil, and you can't ask for a better view. There were a few minor hiccups while we were there, but Ashley was proactive and responded immediately. We will be back in the future and recommend this place to others as well!

Spent 5 days here as a vacation with my wife and daughter. Great spot on Sebec Lake. Khal was very responsive and helpful with local recommendations. The house was had a relaxing open concept that was very clean and had a great Kitchen that made preparing meals fun. The lake was fairly quiet which allowed for some good kayaking and swimming. Watching the sunset off the dock was awesome. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful stay on the Lake near Mt. Katahdin and Millinocket. Our hosts were excellent and proactively offered us their paddle boards and kayaks when they saw us inflating our own paddle board. The recommendations for local hikes were fantastic. When bad weather foiled our plans to summit Katahdin, we found plenty of safer alternatives hikes. Great space. Would absolutely book again.

We had the best time on Sebec lake. The house is beautifully done and was perfect for our family. We enjoyed boating and going into town. Angela and Bill did a phenomenal job updating the house and even though we lost power it didn't disrupt us since they have a generator! The house was so well stocked it made staying there easier and we could cook in the beautiful/open kitchen. The outdoor space was perfect. My only complaint is we couldn't stay longer!

The house was clean and comfortable, and our hosts were incredibly gracious and accommodating. We booked at the last minute, and we felt warmly welcomed. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Thanks to our hosts for sharing their home with us.

Our first Airbnb had canceled within an hour of arriving to our destination after driving for four hours. Brian‘s house happened to be available and he answered immediately. Filed an exception form for us as it was last minute and worked with Airbnb to get us in. Exactly as described … lovely and charming! Felt very welcomed and quite at home. Took advantage of the few steps to the lake, the wonderful swings in the backyard, the completely well stocked kitchen with anything you could think of, the multitude of games with a very competitive game of Sorry, and the wonderful collection of DVDs available to watch! We were so pleased with this stay! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to family and friends! Looking forward to another visit in the future!

Vicky is a great host. She was very responsive to the questions we had. Our group of 5 adults visited Baxter State Park and did some hiking. We only had one great weather day out of our stay, but having the kayaks available made enjoying the lake easy! Nearby restaurants were better than expected for such a remote area. The house is conveniently located to many activities. I would highly recommend Vicky’s place and I hope to be able to return soon!

A great house for a large family or multiple friends. We had a great stay. The house is comfortable and nice. We love walking to the public beach which is close by and has a small playground. We’ll be back!

The cabin was very clean and well stocked. It is very tastefully decorated and free of clutter with a lot of space to store your stuff. It is a great location near the water and the kayaks are an added bonus. The outdoor seating area and the fire pit allowed us to spend most of our time enjoying the outdoors.

Our party of 8 had an amazing time! The lake is beautiful. The house is walking distance to town. I would definitely rent again if our travels bring us back to that part of the country.

Very easy to get to, instructions were sent before our stay and they were clear and easy to follow. I messaged Corey before we arrived with some questions and he responded right away. The cabin was nice, great views, and clean. We went for a fishing trip and the location could not have been better. Thanks for the great stay

You cannot beat the location of this property. If you're interested in boating, fishing, or wildlife watching, it doesn't get any better than this. The property itself has all the amenities you'd need for a vacation, including a fully stocked kitchen kitchen, comfortable furniture, and all the linens you'd need.

House is beautiful! Sandra was very responsive. Sitting on the front porch was lovely.

We had a great stay beautiful views and location. There was plenty of parking for all the toys and trailers and loved having the boat lift. The blackstone was a nice edition. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Only regret was not booking more time.

Vickie was friendly, accommodating and wanted to make sure we were going to be happy prior to arrival by reaching out to provide additional details about the rental. It was a great experience!

Gregory’s place was great. Close to town which was nice. Great rivers to fish near by as well. Definitely would recommend

We were in town for our son’s wedding on October 12, 2024. Perfect location near the venue but private. It happened to be horrific winds that day and we lost our power along with thousands of Mainers. Bill and Amy was communicating with us and letting us know they would turn on the generator and get us water. Luckily by the time the reception was over power had been restored. We look forward to coming back next year. Oh and PS my husband said that the shower alone was worth a 5 star review 😂🤗

It was no frills and disconnected, just the way we wanted it. We knew we were staying in a camp, not a 5 star hotel, so it was just what we expected. Billy was on site when we arrived (which was 2 hours early) and let us right in. I honestly just wanted to make sure it was the right place. Our family enjoyed our weekend away.

A snowmobilers paradise! This house has a huge yard for trailers with trail access right from the backyard. Short snowmobile ride to fuel and a repair shop. This house is perfectly located to ride on many different snowmobile routes. I would suggest grocery shopping before getting to the house as there are only small convenience stores close by. All large grocery stores as 45 minutes or so away. All around great spot! We will be back!

The home was beautiful and as described in the listing . Amy answered all of my questions prior to my trip and during my stay. She offered suggestions on things to do such as visiting parks and trying out a sweet little bakery down the street. The home had amazing views of Silver Lake and we really enjoyed our time there.
