This self-contained unit is an annex to our own house so we are available to welcome you, offer advice or help you plan your stay. The accommodation is on 2 floors with the lounge/kitchen area, and bathroom + shower downstairs, and a large, double bedroom upstairs, 2 sofa beds + child's sofa bed. It is comfortable for 2-4 people but can sleep up to 5 people with two single sofa beds downstairs. If you need an extra bed, a double bedroom is available in the house. Small charge for a fifth adult

Thorneycroft Shepherds Hut offers short stay holidays for one to two people as an idyllic getaway to the peace and quiet of the countryside. It is situated in a quiet corner of our yard with uninterrupted views down our fields in the picturesque village of Kettleshulme. Great for exploring, a mile up the road the is Goyt Valley and Windgather Rocks, ideal for walkers, climbers and cyclists. In the village there is a local pub, The Swan, that serves excellent food, booking recommended.

The cabin offers compact accommodation with eclectic design features and plenty of outside space for you to relax and enjoy the farm surroundings. These include emus, alpacas, donkeys and a cart horse to name but a few of the featured companions on your doorstep. There are limited cooking facilities however a wide range of appliances are available upon request according to your requirements.
