Monthly Rentals in Chesapeake and Ohio Canal

was in town for warped tour and needed somewhere quiet and chill, and this delivered! terese was super helpful when we were trying to figure out how to use the metro to get to the festival, and the station was super close. the place was really clean and cozy and appreciate everything that was there. just the perfect little spot! definitely will come back if i need a place around dc.

Shirley's place is a fantastic little find. Pristine, spacious, welcoming. Great host. Only stayed one night so couldn't explore locally but saw several nice places to eat and ship at on my drive in. An approx 20 min drive from major DC attractions. Great neighborhood!

Paul was very responsive to texts, and he and his wife were very accommodating. They had tea and coffee stocked as well as cream in the fridge. They also provided a jug of bottled water and cans of sparkling water. The last day they dropped off croissants so we wouldn’t have to stress about food on check-out morning. When we ran into them outside (they live upstairs), we mentioned a couple of things that would be helpful for future guests, and they immediately ran out and got them. We could hear some footsteps upstairs, but no voices or loud noises—they were very quiet and respectful of us being in the basement. We got to park our rental car in the driveway while they parked on the street, which was above and beyond. The beds and fold-out couch were comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. They kept the temperature nice and cool so we slept very well. This neighborhood is on flight paths for both airports so you will hear a lot of planes, but the location is worth it.

It's the cleanest Airbnb we've ever stayed in! Just as described and shown in the pictures but even more gorgeous in person! It is in a quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants and stores. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area. *You will occasionally hear others going about their daily activities so keep that in mind if you want complete quiet.
