Beautiful Cayuga Lakehouse weekly rentals July Aug

JeanneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This location is beautiful! Right on the lake. Easy to go down the stairs to the water. Randall was an excellent host and very responsive. The home is lovely and well kept. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect! We used the canoe and kayaks and had a wonderful time on the lake. We would most definitely rent this again and we’ll keep it on our list! Highly recommend!

"Spacious Serenity: Keuka Hillside Retreat"

RobertRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Our stay was wonderful. A great private house on a secluded rural road with a close 10-15 min. drive to Hammondsport, Penn Yan and Watkins Glen towns and attractions. Perfect location for a stay in the FingerLakes. The house was clean and had all the amenities and plenty of room for our party of 6 adults. We really liked the available comfortable seating in the living room area for all 6 of us. Would highly recommend this large house.

Country Cozy Retreat

KateRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Tim's place is a sanctuary! We had a wonderful time looking at the stars from the hot tub, making s'mores at the campfire, and running on the hiking trails right off the property. It's located in the country, a pretty drive away from various waterfalls, cideries, the finger lakes, Ithaca's farmers market and other attractions. The kids were very sad to leave and barely went on screens the whole weekend. Great family memories and we would be happy to return!

Farmhouse Retreat @ Applegate Studios

AlyssaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The place was spacious and relaxing. It had a lot of charm - we loved the old farmhouse feel - and it had everything we needed. I appreciate little things like the electric tea kettle, and that there were extra towels in each bathroom. David was very responsive and helped when we had a small issue, but gave us plenty of space / privacy. We hope to return sometime soon!

Lake Spirit-Lakefront-Hot tub-Pet friendly-Boats

KristenRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The location was perfect to attend a wedding at Fountainbleu Inn (just a short walk to venue). Also, the location next to lake was wonderful. We had plenty of bedrooms with linens/towels and extras like trash bags, paper towels, toiletries, dish soap etc was very nice. The kitchen had what we needed to cook for 10+ people, except crock pot and griddle (which we brought from home). We enjoyed the hot tub and used the propane grill on the large deck. The owner stays close by and was in communication often.

Burdett Home with a View. Perfect location.

SusanRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Oh my goodness, this view is to die for....Dan's house has a huge backyard which slopes towards Seneca Lake, and from the deck you can see not only the lake but so much wildlife: a doe and her fawn showed up several mornings, a fox, so many birds, the pure peaceful setting is absolutely perfect. The house is spacious with 3 bedrooms, a very large kitchen, an equally large living room and 2 full baths. Very tidy and clean, nicely decorated but without clutter... and the location is perfect for exploring the Finger Lakes. Dan is a great host, very communicative, and I would absolutely stay here again.

Ithaca Music-lovers Barn

JeremyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place is truly unique. It's a get away space for musicians who share it when they aren't using it. The place has been built up and settled in. It's gorgeous, the location and the barn architecture. But it's not uptight. It feels like late 60s - early 70s rock and roll, or like classic country music. Maddy's family has a phenomenal record collection and the stereo sounds SO good. The albums we brought came to life there. There's also an excellent book collection, lots of rock and music stuff but also philosophy, literature, eco books, and classic kids book (lots of kids books and a massive toy trunk with toys for kids of all ages!). The kitchen has got pretty much everything you need, and all the basic amenities and appliances. Around about are lots of area lamps, interesting hangings, colored glass, rugs, throws, and well cared for house plants. Finally, the pond and field have not been chemical killed. So, there are lots of birds, frogs, fish, and nests.

We enjoyed our five night stay at Camille’s place. It was a fantastic hub for waterfalls and lake day trips. We also walked to the glass museum and to downtown restaurants a few times. The place was full of cozy amenities and we had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor spaces! Front and back porch areas are gems.

Robert was a stellar host. He went above and beyond and truly loves hosting people and their dogs. If you are a dog owner and want to rent this place, you are in excellent hands. We asked to be on his mailing list for Summer 2026 as we will definitely come back for another visit.

Buttonwood cabin, bath house and summer kitchen

RubyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Very cute cabin. We loved stepping out onto the deck and enjoying our morning cup of coffee with the sound of the stream in close proximity and the lovely view of the trees. My husband enjoyed a little fishing on the pond within walking distance of the cabin. As mentioned in the description, it is very close to the road. If you're a light sleeper, take some ear plugs. Also, it is a cabin so note that there may be a critter or 2 inside the cabin and bug bites are very much a part of the experience. I woke up with several bites. The shared bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. The shared kitchen was also helpful. We did cook a little breakfast there every day. Of the 2 cabins available by this host, this one has a little more privacy. All in all, we would love to return in the future. Great hosts.

Modern Forest Retreat Close to Ithaca/Watkins Glen

LaurenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
You can't stay here, because we live here now! :P We couldn't have asked for a better stay to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary, back in the place where we got engaged & honeymooned, and later lived for 5 years. Sarah and Jeremy's place was the perfect home away from home with our toddler, which is all one level and very family friendly. We appreciated having the bathtub & the darkness of the back room when the curtains were pulled made for great sleep for our little guy. The front and back yard is safe and far back from the main road. An extra bonus is the amazing art by Jeremy throughout the home. The kitchen has all essentials and starter items. The house is a short 15-minute-drive from some of our favorite places including Trumansburg (Gimme Coffee, Main St Market, Sundrees), Hector Wine Company, Grist Iron, Watkins Glen State Park, and 5 minutes from Overlook Coffee. We also enjoyed the short commute to the Ravine Trail and other Finger Lakes National Forest trailheads.

What a beautiful and peaceful location! If you're looking for an off-the-grid experience, this is a great option. We really enjoyed learning about this history of the property and seeing what Joe is building. The sauna was really special and the outdoor kitchen and shower both worked well. We would definitely stay here again.

Hammy on a Rye I Hammondsport Village

MargeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Hammy on Rye I was exactly as described and more. Bathrooms sparkled, kitchen well-stocked, great restaurants and beautiful Keuka Lake just a few walkable blocks away. Quiet neighborhoods to stroll through to admire the houses and gardens in the evening. It wasn’t our first trip to Hammondsport but it was our best because of Deborah’s wonderful accommodations.

Robins Brook

SharmaeRating, 5 stars9 months ago
WE LOVED THE PLACE! Carrie and John were amazing hosts and their wonderful RV elevated our experience and memories that my boyfriend and I will be sure to cherish for a lifetime. For those of you wondering, a bathroom (toilet and shower stall) is located in the RV, however we preferred their bathhouse which was within easy walking distance. Kitchen is fully equipped with basic necessities such as utensils, pots, basic condiments etc. We appreciated the availability of an outdoor gas grill and gas stove that were fully functional. Also it's worthy mentioning there is a fire pit fully stacked with an ample amount of firewood [and a hilly-billy pool which we didn't get to enjoy due to weather]. For those who are planning on a day trip for Ithaca's beautiful scenery, the Buttermilk Falls State Park is about 20 minutes drive; and 15 minutes drive to the nearest Dollar General store should there be any last minute shopping. Overall, Carrie and John were very responsive and accommodating, hel

1800's fingerlakes farmhouse

Mary BethRating, 5 stars32 months ago
A great rustic getaway! It was great being between cayuga and seneca lakes - everything was a 20 min drive to see beautiful falls in every direction, great wineries/cideries (finger lakes cider house had amazing food to go with the cider), great restaurants (stonecat and elf in the oak) and Ithaca Farmer's Market (must see - so plan a Sat or Sun there). Sunsets were fabulous from the porch and over the fields and the hens were a joy to experience - so cute - and the gentle Q was so good with our cautious rescue pup. But the best part of the stay was Carey's hospitality - tending to every need and providing great suggestions of things to do/see tailored to our interests and giving us a true taste of the area - with local fresh eggs, fruit, wonderful baked bread, granola, cider, wine, cheese, baked goods and the best yogurt ever! We didn't even miss the tv (during football and world series even)!
