Just what we needed for a weekend family wedding. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful time! Kathleen was extremely helpful and quick at getting back with us. She had everything you needed to make you feel right at home. We had a great time on the pontoon and enjoying the great outdoor space here too. And pet friendly, our pups loved it!!

This house was fully equipped to meet all of our needs for a wonderful family get away. The kitchen had so many small appliances available. The location was private yet close to many area attractions.

Lovely stay at Denise’s cottage!

We’re lineman up here working the ice storm and need a place to stay. Brandon responded immediately saying he did have power and we were more than welcome to stay. He had a door code to is with in seconds and that night we where able to get in and get some good rest.

We had such a great stay! The yard and beach were spectacular! We paddled and watched the sunset and walked on the beach. We played yard games and board games, soaked in the hot tub and grilled out. Our hosts were so kind and welcoming and gave us great local tips. They went out of their way to help us. The home is beautiful and had everything we needed with lots of nice little touches to make us comfortable. This is the place you want to stay, don't look any further. We hope to come back again sometime.

Krysten and Brigette were amazing hosts!! Our stay here made for the perfect weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of Chicago. We originally booked Krysten and Brigette’s Starlight Cabin, but when the cabin ran into trouble with city permits, they were super kind to offer us their Sol Retreat house for the same rate. The house was very accommodating, beautifully decorated and just lovely around.

So I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals. This was by far one of my favorites. They literally thought of everything in their design and execution. It was so comfortable and fun - my friends who came with me were utterly charmed. The train motif was fabulous- and the beds were so comfortable. It was so clean and everything smelled new. The private back deck was a wonderful surprise. And the ice cream shop next door with delicious pizza and paninis were next level. The staff were just lovely and treated us like royalty. These are top notch hosts with immediate response. They not only make their guests welcome - they want their guests to feel welcome. I had a lovely time and will plan on staying here in the future. This is a true gem in the north of the lower peninsula. So happy to have a great place to stay so close to family near the island. I give them an A+ rating - well done Troy and Alison!! Hope to see you again soon!

Tim and Joanne are kind and conscientious hosts who offer this attractive home that is colorfully decorated. The bed is very comfortable and the location is peaceful, with rabbits, deer and bird visible despite the relative proximity of a highway that is not visible. My wife and I appreciated the loaf of home-baked sourdough bread we discovered when we arrived, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

The Carriage House hosted by Terry has the perfect location to stay in the heart of Macinac City. Restaraunts & the ferry are within walking distance. The accommodations are welcoming, clean & charming. Terry was helpful in suggestions for our day trip to Macinac Island. Checkin was simple. Overall our experience with Terry & our stay at his lovely home was perfect!

Such sweet hosts! The lake was relaxing, and we loved waking up early to have coffee and watch the sunrise on the lake. We had our one year old with us, and it wasn’t difficult at all to quickly baby proof things (not a lot of knickknacks, crazy things in drawers or glass furniture, etc.). She loved running around the big yard. Perfect home base to see everything in the area, and it was the perfect size for our family of three plus grandma.

The Condo was spotless and in a peaceful location. Stocked with what you need. Nice view from the balcony off of living room. Close to Mackinaw City. Only 4 or 5 minutes to restaurants and ferry to Island. Would book again if we are in the area. Bridgett was a great host. Would definitely recommend.

Bridget's place was spotless clean and the condo has a great view of Lake Huron. Check-in was easy and property manager Carol was very responsive to our questions. Bathrooms were thoughtfully stocked with toiletries that made our stay easy. Will definitely stay there again!

Our stay was lovely. The condo and property in general were very well kept, the pool looked nice, and there is a nicely maintained fire pit /seating on the water! It’s right on the Straights looking towards the bridge. Inside was clean and comfortable, cozy without being small. The kitchen was big and fully supplied. Plenty of room and kitchenware to cook a great meal. I would stay here again, and we’ll leave it at that. Thank you!

Quiet, private, beautiful location. Close to main Mackinaw City shops, etc. without the tourist traffic. Just a heads up as far as good for 4 guests, the extra bed is a sofa bed. All in all an excellent place to stay.
