Beachfront vacation rentals in Cheboygan County

We had an amazing family vacation at the “Beach House”. My family loved this area on Long Lake. The beach is very private , and we used it everyday. The beach also has a small fire pit, with a larger fire area up by the cabin. It’s a 16 minute drive into Cheboygan. Where their are many shops, and Restaurants. Cheboygan also has a beautiful trail system, with the Trail Head right in town. Our daughter ran on this trail at least three times while we were here. Makinaw City, and the Makinaw Bridge, are only 30-35 minute’s away.

Our stay at Dorene and John’s was perfect! We traveled the half hour to ski at Nub’s and enjoyed being in the private atmosphere of the cabin. The hot tub topped it all off! We didn’t want to leave!

We loved our stay at the 3 little cottages! It has everything we needed and more. The lakeside area was perfect for our kids. We enjoyed the use of kayaks as well. The cottages were clean and comfortable and had all basic amenities covered. We enjoyed all the extra toys provided in the shed. Lori was so helpful and friendly. We were so sad to leave and can not wait to come back next year!

The location was priceless , beautiful log home overlooking Lake Huron. The wildlife was amazing . Watching the Bald Eagles and deer were our favorites. Made lots of memories with great family and friends. We will definitely return.

We & our granddaughter absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean & spacious. Our granddaughter loved the beech, even though the water was 48 she still swam & played in the water. Don’t know how she did it we were in light jackets. Changqi was great. I message him the day before to ask for an early check in. He said it would be no problem, then I inquired if there was a grill on the back deck so we could cook outdoors. He stated no there is not, but I will go purchase a brand new one and have it waiting on you when you get here. So he did I just thought, now that is how you treat your guess. We are from Texas & that was southern hospitality. We will be back & bring more family next time.

A little out of the way from what our plans were but it was much more affordable for our party of 6. It was nice and roomy. Clean and peaceful. Communication with management was excellent.

It was just what we were looking for, quaint, quiet, and clean! Linda, is exceptional also. Warm, friendly and answered any questions that we had, regarding the area and her home. Thanks again, Linda!

Beautiful home with everything we needed. Large yard for games or just being outside. Nice shallow sandy lake, our fishing boat fit nicely by the dock & the boat launch nearby. Easy to do daytrips. The Dirty Duck Saloon is close & has amazing pizza.

The location was perfect! We were close enough to drive to so many different areas on our list. I felt completely safe here. Our hosts were beyond amazing. They greeted us and made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. They even went out of their way to drop off cookies for us. They are so kind and helpful. Bed was comfortable. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to stay here again.

As a group of 8 we were worried about privacy and space. Once we arrived we were blown away at all the space, the amazing location and amenities. Kyle and Alena were beyond accommodating and helpful. We couldn’t have gotten through the weekend without them and or without the help of their friends and family. We felt like we had been coming to their place for years !! Any questions we had they answered right away and even gave us super helpful tips and advice for our stay ! We really appreciate you all, and cannot wait to return !! 16 out of 10 ;) If you are visiting rent the pontoon boat !! The area has so much to do and see and the price is a steal !

The view of the grand hotel and Mackinac island was perfect, we were greeted with cookies by the property owners, it was nice and quiet, pretty much centered between Mackinaw and Cheboygan. Would definitely stay there again, there was also plenty of room for my truck and car trailer if you’re looking for a nice quiet place outside of town for the st ignace car show week.

Bridget's place was spotless clean and the condo has a great view of Lake Huron. Check-in was easy and property manager Carol was very responsive to our questions. Bathrooms were thoughtfully stocked with toiletries that made our stay easy. Will definitely stay there again!

This cottage is a GEM! Yes, it may not be brand new but it has been meticulously maintained. We felt at home from the moment we walked in. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the dishes, supplies, and appliances you could need. The bedrooms were cozy, the air conditioning was lovely on the super hot days, and we were able to use the TV to watch the olympics. Having the guest house is also a major bonus as our group didn't have to squeeze into one small space. The neighbors are so friendly and quiet. Jessica's communication and support was great as well. Now, the view and the location truly make this spot incredible. You are steps from a private beach with a huge shallow sand bar. This was great for my kiddos as I felt very safe with them in the water. We parked our boat, played in the water all week, enjoyed a fire pit, beautiful sunsets right from the back yard, and woke up to the peaceful sound of waves every day. What else could you want? We would come back here any time.

This little cottage was perfect for our visit to Mackinaw City/island. It was an easy 5 mile drive into Mackinaw City, ideally located beyond the bustle of tourists. The owners live on site and were helpful (with fire wood) and hospitable (with delicious cookies) but absolutely did not interfere with the quiet retreat we desired on this trip.

We had a fantastic stay at Home in Indian River hosted by Liz. We stayed for three nights and were there to ski at Nubs Nob, which is just a 30-minute drive away. The house is gorgeous, well-equipped, and perfectly located. Liz was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We were very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay in the area.

Home was exactly as described. Every necessity imaginable. Private beach was amazing! Absolutely loved the personalized welcome sign and the gifts. Communication was great! My group truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for a great experience 😃

First time in Michigan and we had a great experience at Debbie’s place. It was beautiful and it was perfect for our large group! We had a great time and Debbie was a very friendly and helpful host. I would one hundred percent recommend her place, and will definitely be going back as soon as I can 😊

I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway. It was just like the pictures, if not, better! We had 11 people in our group and we absolutely loved every part of the place and the location! There was more than enough sleeping arrangements, kitchen appliances, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The binder full of instructions was very helpful as well. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boat, and play set in backyard! We even met some of the neighbors’ dogs that passed by throughout the day (so if you like dogs, that is a bonus)! The guys all golfed at the nearby golf course and they came back for some billiards and games in the basement! The ladies and I enjoyed everything the place had to offer, especially the hot tub (which also had clear instructions on what to do and how to handle it). It was a chilly and VERY windy Memorial Weekend for us, but it was still loads of fun for my group!! ❤️

Stacey was wonderful! She answered all of my questions prior to our stay. The kitchen was truly a fully stocked kitchen. First time I have not had to bring things from home to be able to cook for our large family. Loved all of the recommendations she gave us for things to do and places to eat. The property was beautiful and very relaxing.

Dreamy house in a dreamy location. Had a phenomenal weekend in northern Michigan admiring the fall colors, and this house was the perfect place to enjoy it from. Inside and outside, we enjoyed all of the amenities and cute decor. Compared to similar properties we've stayed at in the area, the rate and cleaning fee are a little steep, but if you can swing it, you won't regret it. Highly recommend.

The home is beautiful and the location couldn't be better. Seth was a great host. No issues or concerns for our family vacation. We'd go back for sure.

It was just what we thought. Holiday weekend for our first trip. This was a convenient spot to come back to and relax. Very clean, comfortable. 4 Adults were not crowded. Owner responsive for a few questions. Happy with stay.

We really enjoyed our weekend get away. Had fun with gameroom and theater and even caught some nice fish! House was clean and spacious.
