Lake houses in Chatuge Lake

Jennifer’s place was clean and beautiful. Our two families really enjoyed the kids club upstairs, the open living room, dining on the screened porch, and the boat dock. If we can, we will book this house again.

Ruth was a wonderful host and communicated well. Her lake house was beautiful even though it rained the whole weekend but we definitely enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend her house.

The house was exactly as advertised. Incredibly clean and well stocked. Easy to get in and even smelled great. The kitchen was equipped with EVERY utensil we possibly needed. We were only able to use the paddle boards on our last day due to weather but they were great when we did. Also enjoyed a campfire and saw a million stars on clear nights. Overall we loved the place and felt right at home.

Mario's place is a true mountain hideaway. Rustic and comfy with enough bathrooms for a large family. Big living room to gather in, and spacey enough to get some time to yourself if needed. The place is well-stocked and clean. The vibe is clutter free and relaxed, homey and spacious. Woodsy with lots of birdsong and no neighbors within sight of the house except way down the mountain far away. There wasn't really anything we needed that we didn't find...extra blankets and pillows, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, etc. There was even a chalk marker to mark our initials on our water bottles. Really can't say enough great things about this stay, and don't have anything negative to say. Mario is an excellent host and really flexible, with very few rules other than to respect his property. Highly recommend all the way around!

The home was exactly as described and the hosts were extremely responsive. The dock was our favorite part - it had a great view and was super comfortable. Also, the basement with foosball and ping pong was a great place to hang out. We will be back again soon!

This was the perfect place for us and our dogs to stay while visiting family :) 10/10 recommend :)

An amazing Cabin style home uniquely furnished with art collection.. Very comfortable beds and plenty of room all around. Awesome big, round dining table...great for gatherings and games. Beautiful sunrises. Super well maintained. Our only challenge was ensuring the front door did not lock us out accidently...but its an amazingly beautiful stained glass double door. Kitchen is fully stocked with durable dishwares and all needed utensils. A very relaxing and inviting living room from which you can enjoy the beautiful outdoor scenery and mountain views.

Really enjoyed staying at this Lake Chatuge home. On a secluded part of the lake with beautiful views. Highly recommended.

Tia was an amazing host and the house and plot is incredible. The price was wildly affordable for what it is - a very secluded house on roughly a 2 acre plot that extends into a peninsula. 270 degree view of the lake from the yard. There is a nice private dock, although it is very off balance at the end so be careful (especially if you’ve been drinking). The lake itself has very clean greenish blue water - not that muddy brown we’re used to around Atlanta. The water off the end of the dock was deep on Memorial Day, we were able to dive off in any direction and could not touch the bottom anywhere. It was cloudy so the water was a little cold, but still refreshing to jump in after laying on the dock for a while. The only thing I couldn’t figure out is where the creek is that is shown in one of the photos. I wanted to walk my dog in the creek but couldn’t see it through the trees and didn’t see an obvious path leading anywhere. Mountain Views are magnificent, 10/10 highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Terry's place in the beautiful mountains of western NC! His place is super comfortable, bright, and convenient to everything. Terry was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay again!

My family rents a lake house every year and we all agreed this was our favorite one! The location was perfect- on a quiet part of the lake with a view of the mountains. The indoor and outdoor spaces were built for enjoying the lake and had everything we needed for a perfect lake getaway. Would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to go back!

It was absolutely a beautiful and amazing week celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary!!! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect week! Such a beautiful cabin with a breathtaking, gorgeous view! The hostess was so friendly, kind and helpful. The cabin was squeaky clean and so nice! We fell in love with it and didn’t want to leave! We would love to go back again someday! We absolutely recommend this beautiful cabin!

This place was perfect! Super comfy, especially the bed and super soft sheets! Loved the screened in porch view, being elevated, looking down at the lake, felt so naturesque and private!

Right when we opened the door the beautiful view greeted us from the dining room window. The cabin felt right at home with its rustic charm and a modern kitchen and gas grill outside sealed the deal. Loved the 3 level deck and we used the Hot Tub every night. We really appreciated how well stocked the towels and linens were. Overall we enjoyed our stay and can see ourselves coming back!

the little red house is just magic the places was nice and clean, Mike was always attentive to our questions he was so helpful. enjoyed the jacuzzi while we watched the stars was a wonderful experience!! We recommend this place if you want to escape from the everyday routine.

We always enjoying spending time here. It is very peaceful with lots of wildlife. We even saw a bald eagle flying down the river as we were relaxing on the porch.

The Mirror Haus is a stunning place, both inside and outside. It's so private and peaceful. The Mirror Haus is a beautiful place, both inside and outside. Cody and Laura were exceptionally responsive, quickly assisting us with our questions. My husband and I enjoy our short getaway.

This cabin is amazing quiet Creek is right there. You get to watch it all day from inside the house beautiful deer in the yard.

This was a perfect home for my boyfriend, my mother and our dog. The kitchen is fully equipped. We cooked every morning and night and didn’t need to try to eat out. The deck behind the house faces the very cozy backyard with the fire pit and a colorful water fountain pound. Great view for your morning coffee or your night wine. Master room is very spacious with comfy beds. The beautiful flower potted plants in different parts of the house made this place like home

We had a beautiful anniversary here. the surroundings were beautiful, and the space was fun.

The house is very clean and you feel right at home as soon as you enter. The view from the back is beautiful with the lake and so close to a great Sand Bar and a couple other restaurants that have good food and very reasonable prices.

Fantastic place & exceeded expectations! Tranquil location located centrally between the Blairsville & Hiawassee in the greater Brasstown Valley. Beautifully appointed guest house beside the pool with plenty of room - a full bedroom, bathroom, separate living room & kitchen - with absolutely everything you need (& then some!). Sweet snacks, savory snacks, a complete coffee & tea station with sweeteners & cream, a full-sized refrigerator with waters. Absolutely nothing left to chance. I felt completely pampered! 10 out of 10, I will do it again (& suggest that you do, too!)
