Monthly Rentals in Chartres

Beautiful apartment; gorgeous view. We were looking for serenity after time in busy Paris. The location was perfect and the apartment spacious, squeaky clean and gorgeous. We had a sublime time and hope to return in the future.

Our week's stay at Geneviève’s condo was absolutely perfect! We received a warm welcome as she greeted us upon arrival, had stocked the fridge with some essentials - milk, yogurt, butter, jam - as well as coffee, a fresh baguette, and a bouquet of fresh flowers. We didn't expect such a warm welcome! It's a perfect location in old Chartres, with narrow cobblestoned streets, a short walk to the cathedral and many lovely shops and restaurants. The condo itself was absolutely charming, with beautiful furniture, and an updated kitchen and bathroom. Everything was pristine and neat, with lots of space to store our clothes and toiletries. The bed was super comfortable, with high quality bed linens, and the neighborhood was quiet. Upon arrival, we asked for suggestions for dinner. Not only did she recommend a great restaurant (Racine), Geneviève's husband, Georges, made reservations for us. Above and beyond! Thank you, Geneviève, for sharing your lovely home with us!

We loved the apartment. It’s well kitted out and clean. Ideally situated for cathedral and good restaurants. Three things for guests: 1) Park up at the cathedral car park and walk with bags to apartment. It’s 5 minutes. 2) We are fit, in our mid seventies. The apartment is up two flights of stairs. To carry up baggage you need to be fit. 3) At night the exterior door, that is also entry to an art shop, may appear to be locked. It isn’t- it’s just stiff and needs a good push!
