Monthly Rentals in Charleston Lake

What a great little getaway! Yes this cabin is on a shared lot with the owner, but at no point did we feel like we didnt have our full privacy. There is a large enough distance between the cabin and their home, that we often forgot they were even there. We enjoyed sitting on the deck every night watching the fireflies and listening to the frogs nearby. We took full advantage of the Charleston Lake Park Pass and did some kayaking, swimming and hiking. We definitely appreciated the comfort stations as well, to take our daily showers. The compostable toilet in the cabin is super easy to use, and was emptied daily by the owner. Sara and Cheryl were great hosts, and little Frankie the furry hostess, did enjoy collecting her daily scratches. We will miss coming home to her hippo toy on our deck every day. Cant say enough great things about this cabin! Go ahead and book it! Its absolutely peaceful!

A charming and cozy cottage— a bit smaller than I expected but perfect for a relaxing getaway for group of 4. Would definitely come back!

When I was looking for a place of solitude and rejuvenation I found it at the Home in Hammond on 9 Riverledge Road, and I couldn't have asked for a better navigator in a host. I was looking to take my dog on his own adventure, and by the end we both felt like it was home (It's well named!). If you are looking peace, come here. You will be guided by a skilled navigator and host who will help you find your way to solitude. At the end I had to pick my dog up to get back in the car because he didn't want to leave and neither did I. We are beyond grateful. I'll be returning, with my dog each year, as long as I can.

Lisa is extremely well at getting back to you quick. We had lots of little questions about the listing and location and it was all answered! This place is a great get away and is very clean! She also had everything that you would need there for you.
