Patience Home is a unique home in the woods on a dead end street where the neighbors are friendly & quiet, and there's lots of space. No more than 10 minutes to most locations in Charleston, and 25 minutes from Interstate 57. If you're looking for a great night's sleep, or some back to nature quiet time, or even some music time on my studio Yamaha (acoustic), please consider Patience Home. IF YOU WANT TO STAY LONGER THAN 5 NIGHTS, please contact me and I will be able to decide if it'll work.
“Cindy was so hospitable! She responded to my questions very quickly and I did not have to be concerned about check in or the stay. Her home is so warm and welcoming, I felt like I was at home. I will definitely be back when I come to Charleston next time!”
Our place is good for couples, and families, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). We offer peace and quiet in a serene natural setting.
“Jackie’s place is a relaxing getaway. I stayed here with my uncle and dad and they loved it. We were able to grill out steaks, go fishing, take lots of walks with my dogs on the property, and had a fire with s’mores. Jackie made breakfast biscuits and gravy with dessert for one morning that was delicious with her homemade honey and tea! I also had to work a little while I was there and the jet pack WiFi worked great. Great little cabin for a retreat and creating memories.”
Soon the boats will be cruising across Mill Creek Lake in search of catch of the day or enjoying some water-sports. While you are in the area make plans to stay at the Mill Creek Farmhouse. Enjoy an outdoor fire pit while having the entire house to yourself. In 15 minutes from the driveway you can have your boat launched and then come back to plenty of room for your family to enjoy their evening. Hope to see you soon!
“If you’re ever in Marshall be sure to check this quant but spacious farmhouse out. Modernized farm-house with washer/dryer, nice kitchen and 3 beds. Plenty of room for a family of four. Some downsides might be that there is no wifi (it’s pretty much a dead-zone) and the second floor is literally walled up, so if you’re easily creeped out this might not be your ideal. All that aside, my wife and her bro had an excellent time and we would recommend this place to anyone needing space and a true country-living experience. Thanks again Aaron, great hosting!”
