Cabin vacation rentals in Chapel Hill

This place was absolutely beautiful. The wife and I just needed a little getaway and this was everything we were looking for the lake was beautiful and great for fishing. Even our puppy. Had a great time. Would recommend going back.

What an amazing and tranquil place to stay, sit on porch, listen to the water and watch deer stroll through the yard. Very convenient to many of the surrounding areas and restaurants but we were content to just enjoy the peacefulness, read and relax. We ate at Smokehouse of Steve's and did some grocery shopping there and at the Saxapahaw General Store. This place to stay has the magic!

Excellent place, very peaceful to go and disconnect from the daily grind. Close to Durham and Oxford, where the food is excellent! We spent a few incredible days, listening only to the sounds of nature. The cabin is super comfortable and private.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s “Play and Stay.” It was a short drive from Raliegh to this little piece of paradise. You can’t be bored with all the water equipment, outdoor games, and jacuzzi. Just relaxing on a longe chair, watching the ducks was awesome! Such a fun and relaxing stay. Lisa’s communication is excellent and she’s super accommodating. A+

Our stay at Mountain Vibes Log Cabin was immensely enjoyable, wonderful and amazing. This Airbnb venue is a gem indeed with so many amenities to enjoy along with the cabin itself. Lina and Marcio were wonderful hosts, 100% responsive, rapidly assisting with any and all requested needs during our stay!!

This place is incredible! We were so privileged to stay for several weeks while we awaited closing on our new home. We fished the pond, took advantage of all the local produce stands, and walked our dogs around the pond. Watching the sweet resident duck family and other wildlife from the screened porch was a dream! The house itself was pristine and had everything we needed for our long term stay. David was so kind and helpful. While we didn’t need much while we were there, I don’t doubt he would’ve taken care of us if needed. An absolute gem!

We had a BLAST & cannot wait to come back! Between the extremely nice staff, cleanliness & enjoyment with the animals that this place offers made our stay comfortable &relaxed. House was very clean. The animals were the biggest highlight for my family as we are HUGE animal lovers. My sons enjoyed kayaking & fishing, even catching a pretty nice sized large mouthed bass. My family (who lives in NC) came over to check out the place, fed carrots to the horses & donkeys. They fell in love with it & will definitely mention it, should someone come visiting them. Your lakefront home was so peaceful, even with all the different animal noises; it was a pleasure to to hear their calls to each other. Friendly cats roaming freely. The chickens were adorable, as was the turkey "couple" who greeted us upon our arrival. This place is a GEM! If someone does not have a good time during their stay here, then they must have a problem. We are already planning our next visit. Debi&Crew NJ

If I could give this property and management 10 stars I would! The house Is quaint and surrounded by trees. It has two large screened porches with plenty of seating. It is the epitome of peacefulness. You feel like you are alone in the woods but you are only 5 or 10 minutes from everything!! The owners were so very responsive and helpful. They are really kind people. We stayed two weeks and wish we could have stayed longer.

This place is a gem! Quiet peaceful surroundings! Walkable to cider tasting room. Close to Hillsborough. Screened in porch was a joy at night! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful. We were delighted with the peaceful atmosphere. The presence of a car charger was a huge plus. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

This was a really really cute stay. My family and I enjoyed our stay and was surprised how efficient the whole space was regardless off the small home. Very clean, had multiple kitchen utensils, washroom is clean, the sleeping area was quite fun. Lot of options there too. Overall 10/10!! Liz and her co-host were very helpful and responsive.

Robert was an excellent host. He gave great directions to find his place. He made the entire weekend very peaceful and welcoming. We loved spending the day out on the boat fishing.

We enjoyed the beautiful setting, welcoming environment and —of course— the stunning and amusing peacocks. This is one of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in and I would highly recommend.

10/10 would absolutely recommend! Super cozy for a girl's weekend. The grounds are gorgeous, peaceful and private. We loved hanging down by the pond and walking through the woods. Inside is comfy and cozy. I had trouble opening the door when I first got there and Daniel was super responsive, calling within seconds to help me. Of course I was able to get it open right as he answered. The place is perfect and my 5 star review is accurate, we would absolutely stay again - but just a heads up the owners are offering a free return night in exchange for a 5 star review, which may bias some reviews.

Beautiful home, peaceful, exactly what we were looking for, for our family. Our boys enjoyed the fishing, using the kayaks, and fire pit. The chickens were very entertaining! The house was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely plan another trip! Many thanks to the host!

If I could give this home and the hosts a hundred stars, I would! It was, absolutely, perfect for our family and needs. The home is gorgeous and pristine! It’s nestled in the woods, yet, in the middle of town. It was so quiet and peaceful, while being, conveniently, located a few short minutes away from restaurants and businesses. The hosts were phenomenal with communication and making sure our stay was comfortable and everything we needed. Would definitely rebook, if we’re ever in the area, again! Love the place! I liked the looks of the house from the pictures but it felt even nicer in person. Loved the woodwork inside-out. Anne had also been flexible and responsive from the beginning and throughout my stay. Would love to stay here again if I’m in the area. Highly recommend it.

The screened in porch with a view of the lake was just marvelous. I could spend days and days there. Taking kayaks out on the lake and seeing turtles, fish and a blue heron was a highlight! Benjamin responded quickly and kindly. The kitchen is functional but a bit small for a long stay, perfect for a weekend!
