Vacation rentals with lake access in Cephalonia

We had a great time and felt right at home when we arrived. Clean and comfortable house, all appliances worked, we cooked and cleaned and used the washing machine without problems. The host clearly put effort in to make us feel comfortable for are arrival, after a long journey it really makes your holidays start off well. Everything was very easy, locals and the neighbourhood is peaceful and very friendly. The Island is amazing with many beached has a lot to offer. Around the house there are interesting caves to visit, and beaches. I would recommend getting a car (the roads are very good here) as there is so many nice towns and beaches, all very unique and different. So do your research and plan according to your taste . Even if you stayed for one month you would not be able to explore everything. I highly recommend this stay and holiday experience. Thank you for having us Gerasimia.

As soon as we arrived, the lady welcomed us with a piece of cake and a magnum, recommended places to see in Kefalonia and was always super available. The house's location is very good, close to Argostoli and Makris Gialos, very popular areas full of restaurants. Very good house cleanliness. Satisfied, fantastic island and nice location. PS: Once you arrive in Kefalonia to find the house, follow them (hamlet Helmata), it will help you find the apartment more easily, the address you find on airbnb is wrong.

Our stay with my husband was very successful, the hosts of the house welcomed us very warmly, they explained the operation of the household appliances very well. Two terraces allowed us to enjoy the views of the sea and mountains, beautiful sunrises. Kefalonia in May captivated us, it is a secluded place, if you are looking for peace, you will find it there, we😊 recommend😉

Our group of 6 six adults had a wonderful stay at Villa Kandia. The villa is super comfortable and in an amazing location. We loved spending the warm afternoons by the pool and watching the sunsetting from the outdoor balcony. With lots of different spaces to have some quiet time, the villa is perfect for a few couples or perhaps two families. An easy walk into the village, but a steep walk home - manageable, but certainly tested our fitness! Our hosts were wonderful and only a quick question away! We would highly recommend and we are very sorry we had to leave. Already planning our next visit!

Our apartment was nice, clean, well furnished. We felt comfortable. Environment around was simply stunning, even when you want enjoy time on terrace with calming view. You can hear only sounds of nature. Sometimes you’re visited by little cat or lizards. You really need a car for transporting, scooter or bike isn’t safe. Walking to Poros city isn’t safe either. There are only narrow roads, serpentines bordered by rocks. Hosts were really kind and helpful.

Great location, away from the noise, to the port and the bus stop to the airport 10 minutes, there is a place for swimming nearby. The apartment is clean, comfortable beds, clean linen,the kitchen has a minimum necessary for cooking. Hosts are available to help with tips. The price matches the quality. Recommended.

Perfect location, love the private elevator entrance with code! Amazing light throughout the property, hot tub was magnificent with the view of the bay! Perfect pressure water (i find top floors can have issues with it) and AC worked well! Great communication and very helpful host! Clean and comfortable, could not ask for anything better!

The apartment is a short walk from the city center. It is easy to get around to the local small waterfront. Bed linen and cleaning are different because the quality of the sheets and towels is noticeable and everything was very well organized, clean and smelling when we arrived. The instructions given by the host were also clear and whenever we needed to count on the speed of responses. Excellent Wi-Fi, very nice shower too.

The property was as expected. The location is very convenient for the most important parts of the island. Memi was very helpful, friendly and available for any information we needed.

Fantastic apartment, with incredible location, literally 1 minute walk to the beach. Lovely restaurant (Tou Kokoro) couple of mins walk away. Apartment was very well equipped and clean, with lovely sea views. Spyros was always great with communication right from my initial enquiry. Check in was very easy - we were met outside. 15-20 min walk into Sami along the coastline, with loads a good restaurants. Great location for exploring the area. Myrtos beach was stunning and only 30 mins drive. Ithaca on the ferrry was great definitely worth a visit! Would definitely recommend and hope to return next year! Thank you!

I had an amazing experience staying at Frantseska's Airbnb! She was an exceptional host, always quick to respond and eager to help with anything we needed. The apartment was spotless and comfortable, and her hospitality truly went above and beyond. When there were no taxis available, she personally drove us to the supermarket and picked us up afterward, which was incredibly kind. I highly recommend staying with Frantseska—her warmth and care made our trip unforgettable!
