Vacation rentals with lake access in Central Finland

Absolutely wonderful modern cottage with all the amenities, neatly cleaned. Additional points for stylish decor! Calming and beautiful environment, very relaxing and comfortable place. The owners patiently answered several questions almost immediately. There is only one toilet in the main house, which can be a bit challenging for a larger group, but using the additional toilet in the sauna building during the summer was effortless. All in all, a wonderful place and experience, thank you very much!

Small house with all the normal amenities. Particularly stylish sauna and laundry room. A good double bed and even an adjustable large table for remote working. The host couple was kind enough to greet us and show us around. There was even a tarp for the car. Recommended!

We would recommend staying in Jean Louis’s house, it was clean and ready when we arrived. Due to the great location, we were able to go on many different hikes. What made the stay even better was a wooden sauna next to the lake and the hospitality of Jean, as he offered us a boat ride. Recommended!

We stayed at Henna's apartment for the weekend. We received good instructions for check-in, which went well and flexibly. The apartment had everything you needed for a weekend stay. Full points for the location of the apartment: a stunningly beautiful environment and easy connections in all directions.

Clean and functional apartment in a beautiful location. The view of the lake was magnificent. The apartment was peaceful, I got a good rest. Good saunas in the sauna. The beds were comfortable, the bedding and towels were good and tidy. Outi answered all the questions very well. He's polite and friendly. Karstula's downtown services are quite close. Good parking for the car.

I stayed at this place again. Everything was fine, just like last time. Of course, now there were more pillars on the beach, etc., which were challenging for my other dog, but this is not the fault of the host.🙂🙂 Quick walk to the Pavilion where I was at our company's stand. Everything was neat and the job rocked!

We had a lovely stay (6 days) and were amazed by the clean and cozy apartment. The bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. Niko responded very quickly to our questions. We had a great time and would come back any time.

It was a little worried that the mopeds who drove past that Friday night were disturbing our sleep, but the street next door quieted in time. A truly magical place, your own little universe. A quiet and peaceful place like this is not easy to come by these days, especially not with all the modern amenities that Pirjo's place offers. Private sauna, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, near-total isolation with a town still in reach... I could go on. A true gem in the middle of the beautiful Finnish nature and without a doubt the best Airbnb I ever stayed at. Pirjo herself is an amazing host. Not only did she always reply quickly and very helpfully – she went out of her way multiple times to accommodate and go the extra mile for me, organizing helpful things for me that I didn't even ask her to. I am so grateful to Pirjo, whose hospitality has been the cherry on top of this amazing vacation-cake. Also the island's caretaker, Heikki, was super nice and helpful and I'm happy to have met him. Sadly I didn't meet Pirjo to thank her in person but I hope we will once I inevitably come back for another stay.

Lovely cottage in a very quiet location. From the sauna, we got gentle steam, and the shower added a lot to the comfort. An atmospheric place where we would have stayed longer. It was easy to be with the kids and the dog.

Quiet and secluded. Rey good amenities. Responsive and friendly host. The only negative is that it’s a 40 minute drive on unpaved roads once you leave the highway.

Beautiful, cozy, high-quality and very well-equipped log villa in a beautiful and peaceful location. We enjoyed every moment! Everything went very smoothly with the host and we would be happy to return to this cottage again. In the evening sun, it was nice to sauna and swim. A special plus is the kitchen equipment. There was plenty of cooking utensils, as well as spices and oils, foils, and baking papers were found in the boxes like in the home kitchen. Everything worked in the cottage, the beds were very good to sleep in, all the rooms were spacious and we didn't miss anything. A well-maintained place that was a pleasure to visit!

Merja's cottage was a wonderful oasis in the forest, a genuine Finnish cottage culture. The cottage was cute and compact, everything worked fine. In the sauna, wonderful steam and the water in the pond is clear and warm.
