"Our stay at Alec's place was great! Very spacious, right on Lake Keuka, close to wineries, breweries and distilleries. Alec was very communicative when we had a power outage due to a bad storm, and kept us updated on when it was going to be back on. He was very supportive in answering all of our general questions as well. Highly recommend staying here and would stay here again"

Nice setting easy to get to all activities we were looking to do like Watkins glen and wineries. Tony provided detailed instructions and gave good recommendations!

Peppermint Cottage was everything we hoped it would be! The scent of peppermint welcomed us upon our arrival. The fireplace and wide-plank floors created a perfect ambiance as we enjoyed the comfortable, cozy living room. The beds were comfy and the sheets crisp and clean. We enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to visit again someday.

We had the best family get away!! Great views from the house, kitchen has everything you need, the hot tub and fire pit were awesome bonuses and overall the place was excellent! We rent a lakefront getaway at least twice and year and this one was one of if not the best places we’ve stayed! Hosts are super nice, quick to answer any questions you have, and check in/out were super easy. And if you’re bass fishing, this is the perfect spot. 11/10!!

Everything we needed was supplied and at our fingertips, without being overrun with “stuff.” Well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. We had a great time here on the lake. The house was stocked with kitchen needs, water activities, towels, comfortable bedding, coffee, and bathroom amenities. We spent most of our trip swimming in the lake, kayaking, and sitting in the hot tub. Great location to Watkins glen and the wine trail. Would love to come back for another trip!

The location was perfect to attend a wedding at Fountainbleu Inn (just a short walk to venue). Also, the location next to lake was wonderful. We had plenty of bedrooms with linens/towels and extras like trash bags, paper towels, toiletries, dish soap etc was very nice. The kitchen had what we needed to cook for 10+ people, except crock pot and griddle (which we brought from home). We enjoyed the hot tub and used the propane grill on the large deck. The owner stays close by and was in communication often.

The cottage was lovely, clean, and cozy. It was well equipped with everything you'd need in terms of kitchen utensils and shower supplies. The only thing I would mention that I didn't see in the listing or any other reviews is that while the cottage is one level (except for the few stairs on the dock), there are about 25-30 steps from the street level to even get to the house. Once you park, (across the street from the mailbox- this was also a little unclear at first, but Garrett was quick to answer questions) you will have to walk down those steps to get inside the house. It wasn't a problem for us, but if someone has mobility troubles, it's important to know before you go.

We enjoyed our five night stay at Camille’s place. It was a fantastic hub for waterfalls and lake day trips. We also walked to the glass museum and to downtown restaurants a few times. The place was full of cozy amenities and we had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor spaces! Front and back porch areas are gems.

Great peaceful space. The views were beautiful. The house had very cute touches and the beds were very comfortable!

This cabin was blissfully comfy and clean - we slept so incredibly well and baked tons of cookies for our potluck gathering the next day in Rochester, which was a very easy drive. Kitchen is nicer than mine at home. Evening walks by the lake for stargazing was the fabulous top up to our delightful stay. 👌👌👌

Jesse’s place was the perfect cozy-with-a-view getaway. Ideal location, relaxing, well-designed and stocked. Jesse was eager to offer suggestions and very responsive. Hope to visit again!

Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay for long, we just needed a place to stop for the night, but Michele’s place was so beautiful and cozy we will definitely be back if we’re visiting the area again

Really enjoyed our stay! My friend and I and our two dogs were looking for a quiet, cozy spot to relax and do some hiking, and we got that and then some! Instructions were very clear, and it was easy to find the cottage. Everything was as pictured, huge yard for the dogs (big selling point for us) and had everything we needed inside for a few days. Charming decor, a lovely deck with chairs to watch birds (humming birds were very active!) and listen to the creek. Bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, and the hosts even provided extra linens and towels for the dogs. Raylene came to greet us at check in and gave us pointers on the quirks of the house, as well as some local recommendations of things to do. The weather was cool and a little wet so be sure to have bug repellant! But it was the perfect temp for the dogs. Loved that the road leads into a state forest, that was a nice treat! Overall would recommend staying, especially with pets. Could have easily spent a week here!

Great spot! The cottage itself was perfect for my wife, myself and 2 small dogs. It was comfortable, private, and mostly quiet. I say mostly as it is located alongside the primary wine trail road for east Seneca lake, so you will occasionally hear some cars whizzing by, but not bad at all, especially when inside. The location for me was also a big highlight! Closely located to some wonderful wineries/breweries, good eats, and parks. Watkins Glen is only like a 15 min drive. I would stay here again.

Had a wonderful weekend getaway! Right across the street from Lakeshore Winery and not even a 10 min drive from plenty others. Beautiful location on the lake, would highly recommend and would def come again!

We had an amazing stay at this lovely lakeside cottage! The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, going out of her way to meet a special request—truly above and beyond. The cottage was spotlessly clean, filled with cheerful, cozy decor, and bathed in natural light all day. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning and created such a peaceful, calming vibe. We instantly felt at home. The location is both relaxing and full of things to do—great outdoor adventures and fun indoor options nearby. A perfect escape, and we can't wait to come back!

Wow - what a fantastic lakeside retreat! There must be 6 different places to sit/gather outside - the fire table was especially nice for sipping some Riesling on a chilly night. Well equipped kitchen, and lots of amenities (including kayaks if so inclined). Very quiet surroundings (we were there during the week-end, too), but you have to watch out for the seagulls - they like to hang out on the deck. Great location is within 1/2 hour of many excellent wineries and restaurants. Would definitely return here the next time we are in FLX!

Everything was exactly as described. Looking over the lake in the morning was amazing. Had a lot of rain during our stay and even then it was very enjoyable under the covered area watching the rain. The bed in the sofa was clean and comfortable. Everything you needed was provided. Would definitely consider staying here again.

My wife and I had an absolutely phenomenal stay at this beautiful beach house. The moment we walked in, we were impressed by the modern, clean design and the stunning, unobstructed views of Lake Ontario. The host, Tim, was fantastic—incredibly responsive, welcoming, and clearly puts a lot of care into the property. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing long weekend. We loved spending our evenings on the porch, enjoying the lake breeze and listening to the live bands from the nearby Marge's Lakeside Inn. The neighbors were also incredibly friendly, which added to the wonderful, welcoming atmosphere of the area. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back!

My sisters and I had a wonderful stay at this lake house. Kevin was a very communicative host and made sure to greet us at check-in and even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy. He had many recommendations for food and drinks in the area. The house was exactly as pictured and the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The house was very close to a lot of the wineries and breweries and watkins glen state park. I would definitely stay here again next time i'm in the finger lakes.

If you are looking for a local sweet spot with an amazing view and private beach, look no further. This cottage is the sweetest piece of local history made into a cozy respite with friendly neighbors. Breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake was incredible ! The cottage has everything you need and is in a great location to be on the lake and also visit Rochester and the surrounding areas. The bed, pillows, throw blankets are so comfortable and the electric fire on the wall for ambient light is a great touch! My daughter and I came for a girls getaway and next time we are in town, I hope this cottage is available so we can stay again!
