House vacation rentals in Catskill

This beautiful property has a special place in our hearts. We stayed in the A frame during COVID and we always wanted to come back. This time we stayed in the main house and it was phenomenal. Wish the weather was better for us to use the pool, but next time! It well worth the price. Only an hr from the city and it feels like a full vacation. Wonderful way to lose time time for a few days. We will be back!

The teahouse and surroundings were relaxing and peaceful. We saw groundhogs, deer, and chipmunks from the porch and our 2 dogs loved exploring the field and wandering in the nearby woods. The pool was amazing and warm despite the rain and the natural landscaping couldn’t have been more beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

We had a beautiful stay in Kerhonkson for a relaxing bachelorette weekend! Lillian’s place is absolutely beautiful and was so comfortable for my friends and I. Everything was as described, extremely clean, plenty of linens and had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook a few meals. We enjoyed sitting by the pool when it was sunny. Lillian was very communicative and flexible with check in time. Thank you!

It was comfortable, very roomy, and cozy. There was good shared space and good privacy. The grounds were lovely, there was a great pool, and it was very convenient to so many good things to do in the area. It's one of our favorite rentals to date!

The house was beautiful and very family friendly. They greeted us with milk, orange juice and a carton of eggs in the fridge. They even had a selection of beer testers for my husband to try. We had an issue with the pool heater not turning on and both host were very helpful and responsive. I loved the hand drawn map guide they made me when I could not locate something ! They even got someone out there that same evening. Especially on Memorial Day weekend I was impressed on how quickly. I would definitely recommend this home to anybody and will go back if I’m ever in the area again.

We had a lovely long weekend with our 20 year old daughters and our dog. We celebrated a birthday and midsummer and really relaxed. The house was comfortable, clean and offered an relaxing environment. The Sauna, hot tub and She Shed were fan favorites with our family! Highly recommend for a family of 4-6.

The Airbnb was amazing! Super clean with a great view! Alex was amazing and very responsive! I would stay here again and recommend this place to anyone!

First Stavros was a stellar host. Proactive in communication and always responsive. Very attentive, we had one small interruption with the wifi that he promptly addressed before we even noticed! The house property is absolutely stunning and gorgeous, peaceful, spacious, very beautiful. The house has everything well stocked. Kitchen had plenty. I can't find one thing to comment that isn't positive. We all enjoyed ourselves to the max. The most enjoyable was the three walls full of windows that made the thunderstorms so beautiful to watch in the living room. The little stream in the back so pleasant to sit silently. My husband and I needed some time to re-bond and boy did this place and Tom & Carol deliver. The best airbnb we've ever stayed in, very romantic, beautiful, and inspiring. They put so much love and detail into the place, it went above and beyond in terms of amenities (they had everything we needed plus so much more). I had brought a lasagna that was too big to heat in their airfryer, so they offered to put it in their oven to heat up - which was lovely of them. Honestly this place and the hosts exceeded our expectations in every way. Tom & Carol gave us a personal tour of their beautiful property, gallery and house and all of Tom's artwork - which is everywhere. Tom is so talented and answered our many, many questions. They were super welcoming to my dog as well, and our dogs even played together! My only complaint w/tongue in cheek: Tom doesn't sell his work any longer as he's building a sculpture garden and museum - I get that, but it was hard to not buy some of his incredible work.

Taylor has gone above and beyond to create a really special place. My boyfriend and I had a really lovely weekend away with our pups and everything was perfect. We were able to cozy up after long days of hiking, cooking in was just as fun as eating out and we felt right at home. Checking in and out couldn’t be easier and Taylor is very gracious about making sure you enjoy your stay. Would definitely book again!

This home is a great retreat in the Catskills, it feels intimate while still having the space for you and other guests. Would visit again!

Wow, what an incredible home! When they talk about a “rare find” this is what they mean. By far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The home itself is artfully crafted, and offers so much more than what initially meets the eye in photos. Every attention to detail made this stay magical. You can tell this home is loved, cared for and that guests are warmly welcomed to share its beauty. If you’re looking for a place that has exceptional vibes and puts you at peace, this is it. Liz offered wonderful local suggestions and clear concise instructions to make the whole experience a breeze. I would come back to stay here every time.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxing weekend escape from NYC and couldn’t have picked a better spot. We came to explore Kingston but loved the house so much that we were just as happy staying in, playing games, and soaking in the cozy vibes. The home is beautiful and thoughtfully appointed — I can only imagine how magical it must be in the summer with the porch, or in the fall with the foliage. Even in late winter, it was idyllic. The location is perfect — just about 10 minutes from Kingston, so it’s super easy to pop into town while still feeling tucked away. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Erin’s place was absolutely lovely! We really enjoyed the location - so peaceful and conveniently close to Art Omi. The cabin was beautifully maintained, and we especially loved the interior design, which felt both stylish and cozy. We stayed for two nights but honestly wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

Edward’s place was an excellent stay for my husband and I and our two young daughters. We had plenty of space and everything was clean and comfortable. Edward was a great host, reaching out before check-in and greeting us upon arrival to show us around, give us the lay of the land, and even recommend a few local spots. There were guests in the other, separate houses, but we had plenty of quiet and privacy. The rainbow swing behind the main house, which Edward said we could use, was a huge hit with my daughters. Surrounding area is great; tons of restaurants and activities within a very short drive. We’d love to stay here again—next time, we’d want to explore more of the property as Edward said we could do (unfortunately rainy weather kept us from more than a short walk).

Even though the house is by the road, the backyard is serene and peaceful. It was wonderful to sit by the fire pit and make use of the grill in the evening. The house has everything you need and plenty of space. The dining table is in the entrance/hallway, which doesn’t feel ideal.

The home was clean, inviting, and in a perfect location. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area!

Excellent location with private pond. This home was truly built for a family gathering. Wonderful entertaining spaces, large fireplace with an expansive kitchen to cook in. There is a large game room with board games to suite all ages, billiards, croquet, and a small row boat for fun.

We spent the weekend in the area and Tim’s place was fantastic. It’s loaded with charm, comfortable and very well appointed and stocked (right down to treats for the dog). The location is beautiful and the views are amazing. Can’t wait to return!
