Beautiful property with direct access to the beach. Spotless interior with a well appointed kitchen and incredibly comfortable beds. We've stayed at dozens of Air BnBs and this one is fantastic! Communication with host was excellent. Highly recommend this property.

Our stay here was simply amazing! Beautiful and quiet neighborhood and a very easy, short walk to the beach. Everything was as described and there were many thoughtful touches! We had 2 kids with us and it was a perfect fit for our family. I would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at POSH! Location is incredible and the easiest quick walk to the beach (just across the street is the beach access). House is exactly as described and perfect for family gatherings - multiple fridges and dishwashers. The home was clean and well equipped. The private pool was great as well. Kerry was so responsive and kind. We will absolutely be rebooking this property again!

Our family has gone to Oak Island every year around Memorial Day for the last 6 years and we've always been looking for a spot that we can return to every year. Nothing has been quite right. Until we stayed here. This spot has everything we love. Right on the beach with easy access. Great layout with big beautiful windows. Something fun for the boys to play (air hockey). Really comfy beds. Very clean. Walking distance to all our favorite restaurants. It was great. We will definitely be back!

Dune Daddy was such a wonderful, memorable experience. The cottage is decorated beautifully and being right on the beach with an outside shower and lovely porch to sit on in the mornings and evenings was such a joy. I highly recommend this rental and hope to return there again in the future!

This place was perfect for a beach getaway. Literally steps from the beach, several great restaurants just as close, and the Boardwalk is a very short 5 minute walk away. Will definitely be back.

The house was immaculate! From living quarters, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, screened porch and everything in between it truly felt like no corner was missed and as a mom of 2 young kids that was such a relief to walk into. There were beach and pool items that were actually usable and not rusted and salt water rotted like your typical rental spots. The location was perfect. Far enough from the main road to be private, but close enough to take the golf cart or walk anywhere you’d need to go. Mary was communicative, thankful and kind. I would not hesitate to rent here again.

Memorable Moments is a wonderful place to vacation. I was so impressed with how clean the home was and the layout was perfect. Having an en-suite bathroom with every bedroom made our stay so comfortable. Chris was by far the most organized and communicative Air BnB host that I’ve had. We had a fantastic stay at this home! The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need—and then some. The pool was perfect for our family of 12, and the location couldn’t have been better. We were just minutes from everything, and Lil & John’s ice cream shop down the street became a daily stop for us. We rented the golf cart for the week, which was a great choice—it made exploring the island super convenient, though even the beach was only a 5-minute walk if we chose to go on foot. The house came fully loaded with beach chairs, bikes, paddle boards, a smoker, and plenty of games and toys for everyone to enjoy. It’s spacious enough to relax together or find a quiet corner on your own. Jess, the host, was amazing—she was incredibly responsive and helpful with anything we needed. You can tell she really cares about making her guests feel at home. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Jess again the next time we visit Oak Island. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the beach house for Memorial Day weekend with our adult children and our family dogs. The home is clean, spacious and well stocked. The host is very responsive and truly wants you to enjoy their home. There are grocery stores within 2 miles and the waterfront restaurant across the street was excellent. We used the pool and the many beach accessories that were made available to us as well. It’s a wonderful getaway and Megan has thought of everything to ensure you can start relaxing as soon as you set your luggage down. Thanks for a wonderful extended weekend.

This place has everything you could want for a beach trip. A wagon, beach chairs, boogie boards and even beach towels. The 4 block walk to the beach is easy but the golf cart made it much more fun. Public beach access with golf cart parking available on 17th and 21st. If you don’t like the sand, the pool and hot tub are enough. Even board games for rainy days. The only thing that could make this house any better is if it were oceanfront. Thanks again for the nice house to make more memories together.

Thank you for having us. Your home is a great stay for families and it’s nice that you allow dogs. Hosts are very responsive and will fix whatever issues might arise. Also, they leave you be and let you have complete control of the place. The pool is very nice and the screened in porch too. House is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. My only wishes were that there was better grass in the yard and around the pool area for dogs. Also, that the house didn’t have the faint smell of cigarette smoke. Aside from that, our stay was excellent and we would visit again. Thank you! We appreciate it. ❤️

The house was very clean, new furniture and appliances throughout, and beautifully decorated. It’s in a great location within a short distance to the public beach access. Holden Beach is a family favorite for us and we will definitely be keeping this house on our list for future stays!

Great place for a family of eight! We had one toddler and one infant with six adults. We had plenty of space! The kids enjoyed the pool and golf cart (purchased golf cart separately). Our adult kids also enjoyed the golf cart. The host was responsive to all questions and keeps a very nice place. The pool shed had a small wagon to take to the beach which was an added bonus we weren’t expecting. We also found a playpen for the infant which saved us from having to unpack ours. The outside shower was also fantastic after a day at the beach to keep from taking sand inside (if you have kids, you know what a task this can be). Also, when I left, I immediately added the sheets that were on the King bed to my Amazon list. So comfortable! We were within two blocks of the beach, coffee shops, and good food. Our favorite for breakfast was Fixins!

I stayed for a little over a week and it was absolutely phenomenal! Walkable, in my opinion, to everything CB has to offer though would be a farther walk to some. The accommodations were spacious and perfect for what we needed. The outdoor space / pool was awesome, spent a lot of time reading / working out there enjoying the sun. Would definitely stay again for a long visit!

Communication was excellent and timely. Very informative. Stephen recommended the 70th Street beach access which was easy entry and extremely close. We felt comfortable and cozy and welcomed in the house - great beds - (didn't try the twins). Back porch was a winner! We will surely return next year to this home. Thank you Stephen.

The Phat Cat was the perfect house and location for our little family of six. Having so many bedrooms and bed options with children is fantastic!! Plus having a provided pack and plate and highchair made traveling even easier. We also loved using the beach wagon, which made it so convenient to walk to the beach. Which was very easy. ; and our children are 7, 5, 3 and 8 months old. And we had no issues with the distance. The kitchen had everything that we needed for our meals, which is very uncommon in rentals and very much appreciated. We did eat out a couple of times and there was very good restaurants close by. We would highly recommend this to any of our family or friends and we will be returning.!!!

Peaceful Beach Getaway in Carolina Beach I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Carolina Beach. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the beach, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. It was the ideal spot to unwind and disconnect. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it made for a relaxing escape from the busyness of daily life. If you’re looking for a calm, coastal retreat with a great location, I highly recommend this place. I’d definitely love to come back again!

Our stay at Spotted by the Sea in Oak Island was fantastic. The home's cozy design and thoughtful layout made it a perfect retreat for our family. With three bedrooms and additional sleeping arrangements, there was ample space for everyone. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. The beach, was just a short 7-min walk. It made it convenient for us to enjoy the ocean without the hassle of parking. The home's location was also ideal, with grocery stores and local restaurants just a short drive away. We appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the property. Overall, Spotted by the Sea offered a serene and comfortable base for our beach vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Easy walk to the beach and multiple restaurants! Neighborhood is tranquil and beautiful and the house is very relaxing - we enjoyed the screened in porch and you can hear the ocean from the swing out front!

My husband and I came for our honeymoon, and we loved the place! It’s a beautiful and clean home with a great location. Grocery stores, amazing restaurants, beach shops, and multiple ice cream shops were within walking distance. We rented a golf cart to make the trip to the beach much more convenient, and I would highly recommend doing so as it was also a blast to take the golf cart to dinner and ice cream each night! Every person we encountered while on Oak Island was super friendly, including the next door neighbor. Highly recommend this airbnb!

We enjoyed our stay so much we are 68 yrs old so the golf art was a blessing to get around town and the beach . Had a great time. Thank you Kirk
