Tapley Farm Waterfront Apartment, Acadia, Pets

A beautiful location on an old farm property in one of the prettiest parts of Maine. Carol and Richard were extremely responsive and are clearly committed to ensuring that their guests feel welcome. Locations like this are Air B&B at its best—interesting and generous hosts sharing their own corner of the world.

3 bdrm Farmhouse on the Blue Hill Peninsula

ChelseaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Greg’s place was perfect for our family and all the things we wanted to do. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and in a great central location. Although the main reason we stayed here was because of its proximity to Acadia, which we loved… our favorite activity was exploring Fort Knox- only a few minutes from the house. We would definitely love to return to Greg’s beautiful home!

Lake Adjacent One Bedroom

TristanRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This is a great spot if you want to be right next to the lake. Really easy to launch a boat, but if you want to swim, you’ll need to go next to the Swan Lake grocery store about a quarter of a mile away and swim the other side of the little dam. There’s a little parking lot there and it’s super easy and really nice. You can’t swim off the boat launch dock. This place is really pleasant, but it’s worth noting that if you’re a light sleeper the garage door opening and closing below the bedroom does make a small noise. Also, there are no light blocking curtains on the bedroom windows, so it’s pretty bright pretty early in the summer. Worth bringing good ear plugs and an eyeshade.
