Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Castile and León

Sajazarra is a fabulous location to access cycling routes, both road and gravel. We had a fabulous 2 weeks exploring the area. The private patio at the accommodation was excellent & very comfortable with tables, chairs, loungers, cushions etc. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed including a washing machine. The living room was very cozy & comfortable and the upstairs bedroom and bathroom was manageable & as pictured. Nadine is a lovely host & she made sure we had everything we needed.

Creo que ha sido de las mejores experiencias que he vivido estos ultimos años, necesitabamos desconectar y lo conseguimos, nos fuimos muy tristes de esta casita tan espectacular, super acogedora, los muebles de madera maziza son de lo mejor y he dormido como una reina en las camas tan comodas, no quería que pasaran las horas. Gustavo y su madre, los dueños fueron tan amables y familiares que ya los tenemos en nuestros corazones para siempre. Os queremos familia. Graciela y Justin.

The house was great, very clean and comfortable and decorated and furnished with many personal and attractive touches. Being on the edge of the village, with wonderful views, it felt very private, especially as we used the covered outside seating area for meals. Highly recommended.

¡Una experiencia inmejorable! La casa de Ainhoa ha superado nuestras expectativas. Las vistas son espectaculares, especialmente al atardecer, que pudimos disfrutar de preciosas puestas de sol a través de los enormes ventanales del salón. El entorno es muy tranquilo y la ubicación es perfecta para desconectar y relajarse, pero a la vez está cerca de todo lo necesario. La calefacción funcionó de maravilla, lo que hizo que nuestra estancia fuera muy cómoda incluso en los primeros dias, que fueron más frescos. Pero, sin duda, lo mejor fue la comunicación con Ainhoa. Desde el primer momento fue muy amable, atenta y siempre dispuesta a ayudarnos con cualquier duda o recomendación. ¡Repetiremos seguro!

Die 1 Woche in Viguera war wunderschön. Wir reisten mit einem Baby an und genossen die ruhige und atemberaubende Gegend. Das Haus bietet viel Platz und eine tolle Aussicht auf die Berge. Viguera ist ein Geheimtipp und nicht touristisch. Man kann viele Unternehmungen in der Natur erleben. Es eignet sich perfekt für Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren. Ein Schwimmbad ist auch im Ort mit toller Aussicht auf die Berge. Die Gastgeberin Raquel ist total nett und immer gut erreichbar gewesen. Ein defekter Sonnenschirm wurde gegen einen neuen ausgetauscht. Leider stimmte die Hausnummer 23 nicht wie bei Airbnb angegeben. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen!

La casa es preciosa, la piscina genial y Frank muy amable. La celebración de mi cumpleaños, con toda mi familia, ha sido estupenda. Hemos pasado un fin de semana maravilloso.

Het contact met Mario was heel makkelijk en direct. Hij gaf vooraf allerlei tips en een goede beschrijving hoe binnen te komen. Als je komt voor een drukke omgeving met veel vertier dan ben je duidelijk niet op zoek naar een dergelijke plek. Als je echter zoekt naar een fijne plek om tot rust te komen en het Spaanse achterland wilt verkennnen, is het ideaal. Alles is zoals vermeld, het is brandschoon en er worden zelfs wat extra’s aangeboden. Zelf was ik hier slechts één nacht, omdat ik op doorreis was, maar om even tot rust te komen is het ideaal. Zou het dan ook zeer aanbevelen!

Experiencia fantástica, hemos pasado un fin de semana muy agusto en la Casa del Pastor . Las fotos no hacen justicia a lo bonita que es la casa ,todo muy limpio y ordenado y dispones de todo lo necesario para la estancia.Nos hemos sentido como en Casa.Tengo que decir que la gente del pueblo la verdad muy simpática. A la llegada nos atendió Inma de la mejor manera que te pueden recibir,y le doy las gracias. Gracias Inma. Solo decir que volvería a repetir.

We absolutely fell in love with Salamanca and we were also delighted to be based in Miguel’s very stylish and comfortable apartment. It’s in a great location - steps from the beautiful Roman Bridge and a short walk into the Old Town with lots of bars, restaurants and wonderful sights. Salamanca is so walkable and after a day on our feet it was great to get back to Miguel’s for a rest on the sofa. Bed was comfortable, shower excellent, apartment spacious. We had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful home! One of the coolest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom situation is interesting, not very sound proof. However, you get used to it over time.

Gloria’s apartment was great to stay in. It’s a lovely location with lots of great restaurants. Especially good if you like vintage shopping! Would definitely recommend. Also, communication was very quick. Thanks Gloria!

Beautiful apartment right on Plaza Mayor. Well appointed, really interesting antiques and art (and furniture), just a wonderful experience, practically and aesthetically. Really just one of our favorite stays ever. We happened to be staying there during the San Isidro festival, so the square was full of people and workers erecting a giant stage (followed by lots of sound checks). Worth noting that the windows do an amazing job of blocking out the noise from the square. Practicalities: great location (although there's a half block walk from any street), near the sights and the markets and so much of the heart of Madrid. Grocery store less than a block away. Tons of great food nearby. Only downside: the apartment was so beautiful that we explored less than we would have otherwise!

Iganacio y María Jesús fueron muy amables. Nos dieron indicaciones detalladas de como llegar al pueblo. La casa es super acogedora, tiene todo lo necesario para tener una estadia confortable, la leña de la estufa la provee Ignacio, sin hacerla faltar nunca. En el pueblo no hay mercados, así que llevar lo necesario para comer. A 2 km bajando hay un bar donde se puede comer. La ruta de montaña no genera ningún inconveniente para llegar a la casa. El entorno del pueblo es inmejorable, naturaleza a pleno! Sin dudas, los anfitriones, la casa y el pueblo son para recomendar a quien busque pasar unos días de desconección.

Amazing location and very nice hosts. Would highly recommend to someone traveling from the US. Many places nearby spoke both English and Spanish. Very convenient and lots to do around the area.

The place was very close to the Atocha train station which was our number one priority since we were doing day trips on some days we were in Madrid. It was a plus that the property had a 3 bedroom perfect for my family of 4; huge living room and kitchen/dining area and lots of restaurants downstairs and nearby. Museums and top Madrid attractions are very much walkable. Just make sure you communicate with them when you are on the way to the property. We had a great stay.

great villa, even better in real life than in the pictures! Private and peaceful stay. Additionally the property is baby proof. Hosts were also very responsive and kind by giving local suggestions.

¡Nuestra estancia en esta casa rural fue inmejorable! Fuimos un grupo de amigas y no pudimos elegir mejor. La casa es preciosa, con unas vistas espectaculares que nos enamoraron nada más llegar. Está equipada con todos los utensilios y detalles necesarios, no echamos en falta absolutamente nada. Es muy espaciosa, cómoda y perfecta para grupos. El exterior también es una maravilla, ideal para relajarse y disfrutar del entorno. Además, la comunicación con el anfitrión fue fácil y fluida, siempre atento a cualquier duda. La ubicación es perfecta, muy bien conectada con el pueblo. ¡Sin duda repetiríamos!

Traumhaftes Haus in bester Lage: nah an Madrid und an der Sierra. Die Kommunikation mit Beatriz war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus ist noch besser als auf den Bildern. Alles ist neu und qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Ideal für Familien und große Gruppen. Die Küche und die Badezimmer sind bestens ausgestattet. Vielen Dank für das Bereitstellen des Babybetts. Die Räume lassen sich auch klimatisieren und perfekt verdunkeln. Bestens ausgestattet und sehr komfortabel. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Estancia fantastica en la casa. Enrique ha sido muy amable y ha estado atento en todo momento. Hay zonas en la casa como los banos que están recien reformados y se agradece mucho poder disfrutar de una casa así como estas instalaciones. Enrique fue muy amable preparando la piscina, y facilitando cualquier peticion o resolviendo cualquier duda. 100% recomendable, muchas gracias Enrique!

Sitio muy bonito y acogedor. Dueños y guardeses muy agradables a nuestra llegada y checkout. Nos permitieron estar más tiempo después del checkout. Nos trajeron café como regalo. Todo genial
