Vacation rentals with a kayak in Carroll County

Incredibly comfortable for 4 adults and 3 kids. The house was well stocked with kitchen staples and games for the kids. We loved walking to the pond and exploring the beach. Andy was so responsive and kind. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at this home for our wedding weekend and were genuinely impressed. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked. The hot tub heated quickly and worked great, the showers had excellent water pressure, and there were practical extras throughout the house like hair ties, toiletries, and more than enough towels. The house was cozy and every detail felt well-considered. We’re already talking about coming back for a future trip. This was the perfect place to stay.

My girlfriends and I have chosen to stay here three years in a row for our annual girls weekend, which should tell you all you need to know. Clean, friendly and responsive hosts, great location for getting away to the quiet but easy drive to restaurants. Highly recommend!

A group of four of us visited this Airbnb this past weekend and we enjoyed our stay immensely, the house was cozy and had plenty of room for privacy whilst having nice common areas. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, they responded quickly to all of our questions and solved any inconveniences we encountered.

My family and I had an awesome stay at Peter’s cabin. The weather was perfect so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful lake on multiple kayak rides. There was lots of room for all 7 guests and tons to do, even for my 4 year old. The yard in the back is just stunning! The cabin is off the beaten path but also super close to lots of shops and restaurants. I reached out to Peter a few times and he responded within minutes each time. Truly an unforgettable experience!

We were in the area for a wedding and needed a house that could accommodate 3 adult couples. Nadia's house was perfect! The 3 bedrooms were roomy and comfortable with queen/king beds. The downstairs living space was also large with enough seating for the 6 of us to gather. It rained the entire time we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor patio overlooking the lake (which is across the street) or the kayaks but I imagine in nice weather that would be a great place to hang out. The house is about 7 minutes to "downtown" Wolfesboro which sits between two lakes and has some quaint shops and a good number of restaurants, bars and bakeries/cafes. The local grocery store is located just on the edge of the downtown area. Nadia provided checkin info before we arrived so that process was seamless. If we were to go back to this area, we'd definitely stay at Nadia's again.

We had the best weekend at this place! It’s a beautiful home (in our opinion the cutest on the entire lake) in an even more beautiful area. It was a bit overcast and rained one day but the lake was surprisingly warm and we still went swimming even on the cooler day. We also used the kayaks and SUP the host provided to spend more time on the water. There were lots of board games provided that we played often. The kitchen was well-stocked with spices, pans, and even small appliances, and the toiletries provided were nice. The best part of this place, however, is the French doors that open onto the balcony. We kept them open, with the screen closed to keep bugs out, almost the entire time we were in the house. Despite being a guest house on the same property as Janath and Beth’s home, the carriage house felt very private. This has been one of our most favorite places we’ve stayed. A beautiful home that is quiet and with lake views you can’t beat. I’d recommend to anyone! You’ll love it.

My husband, 15 year old son and I stayed at Jim & Janet’s cottage #5 last week. I could not recommend it more! We had the best time. The check In/check out process was smooth. Jim & Janet are wonderful, friendly hosts who are super communicative. The location of the cottage was amazing being directly on the lake. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The access to the paddle boards and kayaks was great and made for a lot of fun days. The cottage’s close proximity to Alton Bay is also a plus because it’s such a cute and easy to navigate area with a few restaurants and great scenery. The hosts’ local recommendations were spot on. We couldn’t have asked for more with our stay. The cottage was the cleanest rental we’ve been in so far. We got so much in that we wanted to and also relaxed with the beautiful scenery. It is such a hidden gem! Thank you Janet and Jim! We hope to return again!

This is our second year staying here and it was just as good as the first. We plan on coming back for many years to come. You won't find more responsive, friendly hosts. Bri, Donna, and Stephen are a joy to rent from, great people, and an awesome spot right on the water.

We saw a concert at the Bank NH Pavilion which was our main reason for getting an Airbnb. However, after staying there, the area was gorgeous, we loved the lake, close to town and so peaceful. The house was perfect for us. We brought our dog and I loved walking him around the circle. It was a true log home and so quaint, everything we needed was there. We will definitely be back.

This is the first Airbnb that I have rented. The host was responsive and answered my questions. The house was clean and looked exactly as pictured on the app. The host left out simple and reasonable house rules. The only thing that I would have liked to been different is if the check in time was an hour early and the check out time an hour later. As well as the price was a high after all the applicable fees. This being the first time I rented an airbnb this could be a normal thing that exists in the app and not the fault of the host. But advertising between 700-800 a night but after the fees it was over 2400 for 2 nights! So that 700-800 a night was really 1200 a night. That drastically increased the advertised cost. No one likes that. Again not blaming the host for the fees but if they know the fees are built in to the app they should lower the advertising price. When you go to check out and the cost is twice what you are expecting is crazy! Other than the price there was no complaint

This was the perfect place for our family when visiting family and attending a local graduation. Host was highly responsive when I had a check in questions. We enjoyed activities on the lake and evening campfires. I would stay here again and recommend for others.

An absolutely wonderful cottage on a beautiful lake. West facing so lovely sunsets. The water is clear, clean and warm with a convenient pontoon to swim out to and back. The facilities were wonderful we used the kayaks and paddle boards. There is a well equipped games room (pool, table tennis and foosball). It’s perfect to keep kids entertained or just to relax. Also an outside pickle ball court. Dave and MB are very generous and welcoming hosts. One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed out. Highly recommend. Dave and Caroline

Our stay on Pine River Pond was absolutely perfect, and the accommodations were the perfect mix of camp and comfortable and the outdoor space was the perfect retreat for our family and occasional guests. The hosts were responsive, friendly and so easy to communicate with. I can't say enough good things - We've already locked in our space for next year.

We had a great time in this beautiful cabin! It was clean, peaceful, beautiful, well-equipped, and our two kids appreciated all the toys and games. We would happily stay again!

We celebrated my sisters birthday at Adams place and I can't tell you how many times we all uttered the words..."I just want to stay here forever"....The inside was loaded with lots of comfy couches and chairs with huge windows overlooking the pond and mountains. It was such a peaceful environment! The wood stove was a plus and kept the house nice and toasty. The kitchen was fully loaded and lots of book options for those who forgot theirs. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of throw blankets for when hanging in the common areas. We want to stay here again!!

Thoughtful hosts. Excellent amenities. Beautiful surroundings. Robin and Rich went above and beyond to ensure our family had a fun weekend. In addition to the many included amenities (frisbee golf, kayaks, swing set, outdoor fire place... the list goes on!) they ensured our toddler was the happiest camper by offering fun toys that kept him laughing and exploring all weekend. Their town of Wolfeboro had yummy breakfast spots and beautiful lake views and access to the rail trail. Nearby Castle on the Clouds made for a fun excursion and hike. We'd love to return!

Had a great time staying at this gem! Had all appliances you need to stay in and cook all weekend and had an amazing grille! Very quiet and peaceful. Would recommend

We had a wonderful time. The place was comfortable and offered everything you needed. The association beach was great my grandchildren had a blast! It was close to everything and we were able to easily do things in the area and still spend time at the beach in the afternoons. I would definitely recommend staying at Paige's place.

We had a great weekend getaway here. We both needed a mental reset, and that is exactly what we got. Communication with Sal was easy, and always got a response almost immediately. The house was clean and perfect! It was very dog friendly and had a nice yard we could let the dogs play. We would definitely stay here again. Directions to the house were so simple and an easy drive.
