House vacation rentals in Carrickalinga

We had a lovely weekend stay at this beautiful property. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. My daughters and I felt right at home, and even our dog, Loki, had the best time exploring the yard and soaking up the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect spot to unwind and spend some quality time together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a family- and pet-friendly getaway!

The house was incredible - exactly as described. 360 views of vineyards, a beautiful yard with fenced pool that was perfect for our young boys to run around and ride bikes, and very comfortable beds. We did a big cook up one night and the kitchen was well equipped. A large indoor dining table and outdoor dining table, and a large family area with big screen tv and lovely warming fireplace. Aircon throughout. On a cold May night it was very cozy! I would highly recommend this property, we were 7 adults and 2 kids and slept here very comfortably.

What a great place to stay. Old, but clean and specious with everything you would want including home grown tomatoes and homemade fig jam. the gardens, unfortunately affected by the drought, are great. We would have loved to see them in their full glory. The owners were great also and promptly top us up with a couple of items we were running out of. We would certainly stay again.

Our group had a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the pool and use of the projector. We enjoyed the space greatly and highly recommend to all. All communication was greatly appreciated. Thank you for having us. We would love to return again.

My friends and I had a great time staying at Las Viñas. Paula was a great host, the house was easy to find, easy to get into, and beautifully clean when we arrived. Plenty of space for a large family, or for multiple adults. Walkable to town, and to some of the best wineries Australia has to offer. It was a great few days, and we will be back!

Had a great weekend in Glenelg for a friend's 60th. Short walk to Jetty road and the Marina for a multitude of dining choices. The home was comfortable and tidy. We were able to cook breakfast on the BBQ and for tea were able to use the kitchen for our seafood banquet. Due to it being such a cold weekend were unable to use the pool hut would expect it would be a great bonus for summer days. Loved watching the planes coming in over the ocean. We were a group of 6 adults.

Margo's place was the perfect location for our weekend stay, where we could catch up with our extended family. This property had everything we needed and was comfortable and warm.

Karena’s place is amazing. The beach views are beautiful and complemented by the stunning design features of the house. The bedrooms are comfortable and the house is stocked with everything you need. Karena is a lovely host. Highly recommend this house for a luxury beach stay close to Adelaide!

A beautiful space. Super clean and cozy all around. The beds were comfy, and the bedding was soft and warm. The couches were large and a great area for relaxing, especially with the fireplace going. It felt really private and peaceful, which made the stay even better. The heated floors in the bathroom were such a nice touch. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the space.

A few friends and I stayed at Bernard’s place for a painting retreat. We painted, walked, did yoga, chatted, swam and ate well. The house was perfect for our needs with a large sheltered out door area, lots of bedrooms and an open and well resourced kitchen. It was pristine and so cosy. The location was perfect with incredible views, and proximity to Normanville town centre. The house was excellent value, the hosts were amazingly helpful and friendly, and the stay was definitely 5 ⭐️

A lovely spacious home which suited the needs of an elderly person with walking frame. Ample space for us to move around, bedrooms were spacious and cosy. The kitchen was well appointed including a coffee machine. Our stay was restful and enjoyed by all.

We had the most wonderful stay at Melissa's beach shack in Carrickalinga. The house was wonderful for two families, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short stroll to one of South Australia's most stunning beaches. Melissa was a fantastic host, with great communication and thoughtful touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beach escape!

We loved our stay in Bec’s beautiful beach house. It was so peaceful on the deck. House was fully equipped with everything we needed. Can’t wait to go again!

We had a fantastic stay, our dog loved the big backyard to explore and the short walk to the Main Street and beach. Was very homey and comfortable for 4 peoples (and a dog). Will definitely return!

We had such a gorgeous long weekend away here! Surprisingly big, bright and airy house in a great location. Perfect for what we needed as a family and very well equipped. Fiona was extremely accommodating during our stay and very responsive with all communication. Thanks again we loved it!

The place was great. Exactly as stated, rural get away. Cows in the front field across the road and sheep in the fields behind. Lovely. Thank you James.

Peaceful and quite location in front of Myponga reservoir. House is very modern and has all the things you need for a holiday, many entertainment options. Only downside was not having heating in all the rooms. Living room heater heats up living room well but 2 rooms were not heated well with that and other 2 were not heated at all so we had to use portable heaters which is bit inconvenient to use with a 18month old.

We had a wonderful stay at Sally's house over the week! The place was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for both kids and dogs, making it a truly family-friendly getaway. The outdoor space was a highlight — plenty of room for the kids to play and the dogs to explore safely. The hosts were welcoming and thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was the perfect balance of comfort and convenience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

My friends and I had a beautiful stay at Simone’s place. Special mention to the beautiful backyard and fig tree which looked stunning in the evenings with the fairy lights on.

We stayed here for a work trip and it was exceptional. The house was in excellent condition, comfortable and a great place to relax after a busy day workshopping with the team. We would highly recommend staying here again. SA Stays were a great host and were very responsive with any questions we had leading up to the trip. With different team members staying in one house it was great having the extra space where everyone could have some alone time if it was needed. Having enough bedrooms to cater for everyone was a big hit. Definitely a must stay for anyone heading to Aldinga in a larger group. 5-stars!

This house will keep you thinking about its design and aesthetic. It’s so clever, beautiful and usable. It’s worth the stay just to experience it really. But the stay is so much more. Everything is surgically clean and rabbit burrow cozy. For a summer house it makes a winning winter destination. I honestly wish I hadn’t given 5 stars to other places because this earned it like no other. Thank you.

This was my second stay at Miranda’s place and it’s officially my favourite beach getaway spot. Everything was just as lovely as I remembered: clean, calm, and so thoughtfully set up. You can tell a lot of care goes into the space, and it has that perfect mix of comfort and style. The location is amazing too, just a short stroll to the beach. Can’t wait to come back again.
