Andrew's place never fails to satisfy! This is our third visit. Great value for money, clean, well equipped, massive comfy bed, private hot tub. bang in the middle of Morecambe with easy access to the south lakes and lovely local coastal towns. We'll be back! :)

We have had a lovely stay at the boathouse which was just amazing! The boat house its self is beautiful, clean and comfortable with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! It is very well equipt, plenty of towels, blankets and even robes. We loved the hot tub with views over the lake. The location of the boathouse was just perfect for us and the views were stunning! We took our own paddle boards and was so happy to be able to launch straight from the jetty to explore the lake. My daughter also loved feeding the ducks from the jetty. We have had a busy few days on local bike trails, hikes, paddle boarding, boating and having some lovely meals out in beautiful Bowness, but always looked forward to returning to the boathouse! We will definitely be returning! Thank you

We have stayed here twice now and it has been perfect both times, when we encountered an issue with booking we messaged and got a helpful answer first thing in the morning which was amazing as we booked same day. We’ve had a truly wonderful stay at Janet’s beautiful farmhouse. My wife, our dog and I felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Janet has been an absolutely lovely host – always kind, thoughtful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. She gave us excellent recommendations for local attractions and made herself available in case of any emergencies, which we deeply appreciated. The house itself is spotless – everything was impeccably clean, including the furniture and the bedding. The bed linen smelled fresh, and the duvet was of exceptional quality, making our nights very comfortable. The interior is modern and beautifully designed, offering a perfect balance between style and comfort. The bathroom had strong water pressure and lovely hot water, and the Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable, which made our stay even more convenient. We are leaving today with hearts full of gratitude. Thank you, Janet, for making our holiday so special. We would not hesitate to return

A well loved and super clean cottage in a surprisingly quiet part of Arnside. The garden is a little gem after a long day out in good weather. Thoroughly recommend and friends say I’m pretty fussy.

We had a lovely stay; the location is wonderful, surrounded by farmland with baby lambs overlooking the seating area! The apartment is very well specced and looked after, with a small garden house further up the hill opposite and an amazing river a short walk across the fields where we went for a swim. The photos do not do the property justice, it is a gem. Would definitely come back to use as a quiet base to explore the lakes from again.

This was one of those places that you would wish to keep a secret. The views are breathtaking, the area is quiet, perfect for a retreat for people willing to charge their batteries from their busy lives. It's a bit off the beaten track, so you need a car or a taxi from the train station to get there, but you can rest from the busy touristic towns of the Lake District. Jeanette was a very discreet and lovely host. She furbished the place with great care. Thank you Jeanette for hosting us, your place was a dream come true!

What a fabulous few days me and my boys had ..I’ve never seen them so relaxed (ages 35 and 37 )x I think it was the lovely energy we felt in the beautiful Nest xx looking out over the river each morning set us up for the day. Would recommend 100% , we had everything we needed ..I couldn’t fault it ..the bedrooms immaculate and the beds /bedding were soft clean and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the gym and pool offer also x staff there were lovely at the Swan Hotel. Thank you xx

Exactly as described. Set up with everything needed for a self catering stay. Central location to shops and beach. The flat decor is a little tired but was clean and comfortable.

One of my best stays… Location is s great, 15 minutes walk to the center. Check-in instructions were very clear The apartment is well decorated with a lot of nice touch… Lovely bathroom with sunshine and a perfect shower… Gina is extraordinarily welcoming… I felt home, All those compliments were so nice and thoughtful Thanks to Gina for everything Highly recommended!

Lovely little bolthole, incredible location in the heart of the village. You’re a minute walk away from most of the restaurants, pubs and sights. Getting checked in was super easy and the place was spotless, thank you Nia!

Absolutely peaceful and clean place. Debbie was a great host and the apartment is best for anyone to unwind after busy work. The peaceful surrounding, jacuzzi , and the sleep. If you feel burnout and want to relax, this is the place. Thanks for hosting us and we will definitely book this place again in the future.

The mill is stunning - beautifully restored and tastefully decorated with everything needed. A real home from home. Beds were comfortable and bathroom spotless. Walk into Kendal took around 20 mins with some good pubs and shops in the town. My daughters and I throughly enjoyed our stay… Some noise from children in lower apartment early in the mornings was the only slight negative… Highly recommend the mill.

Great location quiet, easy to get to. We stopped just 1 night so didn’t use anything in the kitchen but it had all you would need. Plenty big enough for 2 people with really comfy bed and large bathroom with walk in shower . Would definitely stay there again

The Hideaway was a beautiful, peaceful and perfect setting for us to celebrate our anniversary, made all the more special by Fiona’s very warm welcome, outstanding hospitality and helpfulness, providing guests with everything you might need. One of the comfiest and largest beds we’ve ever slept in; lovely bathroom and well equipped kitchen; all very clean and with many thoughtful touches throughout. Huge bonus to have many perfect spots to sit and relax in the garden and absolutely love the ‘hot chocolate hut’! Great walks from the doorstep, super path to Kirkby Lonsdale and loads of places to visit and eat. Thanks Fiona for a really lovely weekend and a beautiful and very generous welcome basket - we look forward to returning as a weekend was far too short to enjoy the area and the Hideaway!

This was by far the best place I stayed while travelling in the UK for 6 weeks. Fiona greeted me on arrival and showed me how everything worked. She also made some great suggestions for local walks and cafes. The apartment is spacious, with modern decor and spotlessly clean. The host has provided everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It’s located within a few minutes of the shops and within walking distance to the buses and trains. Although it’s close to everything, it’s tucked away down a laneway so it’s extremely quiet and private. I highly recommend this apartment.
