Absolutely beautiful! The view is extraordinary and the Airbnb is clean with good utensils in the kitchen. Davide and Kerry also gave really fast answers. Amazing!

We spent three nights in the April home - the perfect spot on the lake to enjoy the surroundings (e.g. a hike to Montepiatto with the hilarious view over the lake … or a boat trip to Como or to Lenno or to any place on the lake … or enjoy an Italian breakfast in the Bar Italia in the pittoresk Marina … or have a first class dinner on the lake in the Vapore restaurant … or or or. That is what we did during our three days ) Everything is in walking distance, so: Italian dolce vita at its best. We definitely recommend.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this accommodation for the second time. It was a wonderful vacation again. It is a peaceful haven in a beautiful and quiet place. You feel at home there very quickly. Everything is quickly accessible on foot, by public transport or with your own vehicle. Lots of opportunities for walks, tours and hikes are easily accessible. Barbara is an attentive and caring host, thank you again for hosting us. We are already thinking about our next visit...

The most breathtaking view ! Perfect spot only 10 minute walk to the town of Dervio. Easy to get the Ferry and explore other spots along the lake. 10/10 recommend!

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed the stay! Gandria is a picturesque, small village and despite the quiet, tranquil location, there are several restaurants and cafes where you can stop. Louise's apartment has been designed with great care and has everything you need for a few relaxing days.

Comfortable and quiet accommodation with excellent host. Views are as pictures show and lovely to relax on small balcony. Having asthma and slight mobility problem I did struggle with the 10 minute walk, all uphill, from town to home. The only other route consisted of 97 uneven stairs, the middle section being unlit. The apartment is twenty stairs up with no handrail. Taxi fare at night was only 10 euros so not a major problem. Also the C30 bus passes at the top of the road.

We spent 10 days in the beautiful apartment, which left nothing to be desired. The view is fantastic, the location quiet and idyllic. You could buy the essentials in a few minutes in a small nearby shop. We highly recommend the place. If you're looking for a break, you'll find it there.

Super cute place. Nadia and her husband were extremely welcoming and helpful. We rode on her husband’s ferry to Lenno and he brought us up in the cockpit. From Lenno we walked to Balbianello (Star Wars, Casino Royale). Don’t bother with guided tour, just walk the gardens. We also rented a boat for a couple hours. Como was the boys’ favorite stop on this trip and much thanks to Nadia.

A Hidden Gem on Lake Como – Unforgettable Stay at La Cava, Pognana Lario We spent 4 nights at La Cava in Pognana Lario, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This unique property, seemingly built around the 1960s, is unlike anything we've seen before. Domingo was a first class host. Very friendly and offered a list of great places and restaurants to visit around the area. The aptmt was fully kitted out with everything you might need for your stay and the views from the two balconies over lake Como were amazing. I would highly recommend a stay at Domingo’s abnb. Anna & Massi were extremely responsive and even rescued us from roadside when we couldn’t access the listing via public transport — and then drove us back to the Como station when we checked out! The accommodation is excellent for those who want to explore the Lake Como area by car. It is exactly as in the pictures, the view from the balcony is absolutely fabulous and it is worth starting your day with a coffee from there. Absolutely everything you could need on a holiday you will find, impeccable cleanliness and excellent attitude of Carla. From the public parking spaces you have to walk about 5-7 minutes but it is fully worth this little daily effort.

The village was really very friendly and pleasant, peaceful, 20 minutes from the main cities to visit near Lake Como and especially peaceful and a breathtaking view from the apartment. The apartment is well renovated, very bright and pleasant to live in. Hopefully you will meet Donatella who is the very friendly owner

Both Francesco and his mom are super friendly, and very service minded. We had an amazing stay for 8 days and truly enjoyed it! The view is spectacular! And the apartment is perfect, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, which makes it easy to cook. I would however recommend trying the local Briisa de ness, really good food. I would stay here again any time! One little note, it’s not that easy to get around in the area with your dog, as there are no paths outside of the roads, the roads are quite small and sometimes a bit busy to walk on. So you will either have to drive a bit to get to an area suitable for walking. However there is a small garden attached to the apartment.

Was immediately drawn to the charm of this place! Loved the location by the waterfall, bridge and boat landing. Loved the walk past the boat landing that had incredible views of the lake, the flavor and history of the town…I walked on the cobblestones all the way to the church. I recommend taking the hosts instructions on taking the bus from the train station to his place in Nesso. It was definitely fun to walk from the train station into Como downtown and eat lunch, but getting the bus from there to his place is very hectic and crazy. The buses fill up fast from there with all the Lakeside people! You will save time by walking back to the train station and getting the bus from there. We happened to be there on a holiday weekend the end of May and the buses were not reliable. And the lines were long. I recommend the boats, they are more reliable. But hint… when we went to Bellagio, they said to get in line a half an hour before your boat takes off..you need more time! At least 45.

This place was the perfect place to stay if you want a beautiful view of the lake and to be in a quiet neighbourhood. There was pros and cons with the location (cons- trouble finding a taxi to and from the train station and not much in close walking distance & pros- beautiful view, right beside the C30 bus stop) but if you’re up for adventure and fully able bodied it’s worth it! We bought some groceries in Como after spending a the day there and had dinner one night in, walked down the stairs by the bus stop to the lake level for dinner at Ristorante Vapore sul Lago di Como and spent a day at the Lido di Faggeto Miamilaryo, which was a beautiful beach club with good food and drinks. The house was everything we needed and the view had us speechless the whole time. The hosts were quick to respond and help when we had questions. We would highly recommend this stay!

We spent 4 nights in an absolutely ideal place to rest. The setting is very quiet, with a magnificent view of the lake, perfect for disconnecting. We had a place with an outdoor kitchen, which was really nice to enjoy the environment. The room was very good, comfortable and clean. The place is also perfectly suited for a stay with a small child: there is a sandbox, a swing, some toys on site, a high chair, a crib… even board games for family evenings. The owners are lovely, with lots of small touches that make the difference: on our arrival, fresh fruit, yogurt, beer… And for those who like their peace and quiet, don't worry, we hardly saw them The only small point of improvement in my opinion would be the addition of a small pool, that would really be the cherry on top. But otherwise, everything was great, a real slice of heaven

I couldn’t speak highly enough of our stay. Beautiful apartment in a very well situated area. Marco always replied so promptly and always went above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again!
